  1. I can't find the group.
  2. I'd definitely be interested in a Facebook page.
  3. I've been accepted as well!! So exciting!
  4. Thanks! It's for CVICU.
  5. This Friday
  6. They have started to make phone calls for interviews. I received a call today.
  7. I signed up as well. Thanks dpierson!
  8. Congrats, hookem! I'm taking mine at the La Porte EMS on the 27th for $15. La Porte Website - CPR Training
  9. I live in the Heights too!
  10. I got my official e-mail!
  11. Hmm, does anyone know why do some statuses say "You have been granted provisional admission," while others say "You have been admitted to the program for the term shown above"?
  12. Ahhhh, "You have been granted provisional admission. Admission letter in the mail." I'm so happpppy!! I've waited for this day for so long!! FYI - I'm almost positive that when your holds change to include "admission documents" and "residency holds," it means you've been accepted. It just takes a day for your admission status to update. I went back and read past threads, and everyone who said their holds change found out a day later they were accepted. Good luck everyone!
  13. I'm not sure when it changed. I've looked before, maybe a few weeks ago, and there were definitely less holds than there are now.
  14. I have some added holds, but no status change. I guess I won't be productive for the next few days until I find out!! My interview was Sept 24th.
  15. OMG congrats! Slightly jealous that you found out already!!!
  16. I got a transcript evaluation before my interview, and I got one last week as well. I still have a couple courses outstanding, so I think they sent it as a reminder to turn in my transcripts when the courses are completed.
  17. I think it's inaccurate to say that those who already have bachelor's degrees "already obtained a life with a job." Also, the accelerated program and the traditional program are very different in that the accelerated is largely online. I don't think it would be fair to force those with a previous degree to take online classes. Everyone should be able to choose how they want to learn, whether it's in a classroom or online.
  18. The interview went okay. Like everyone else, I wanted to say more than I did. I'll just have to cross my fingers and wait! I forget how long the questionnaire was, but I do remember seeing the healthcare experience part.
  19. So relieved my interview is over! There were 16 in the Sept 24, 8am group.
  20. Okay ladies (and guys), This probably won't help much, but I put together a spreadsheet (yes, I'm a nerd) of everyone on this forum who has received an interview. There are ~28 of us. Here is the interview breakdown by date: Sept 15 - 10 Sept 16 - 8 Sept 22 - 1 Sept 23 - 3 Sept 24 - 1 Sept 27 - 1 I know the numbers don't add up to 28 - that's because some people did not list their interview dates. It's possible they are not interviewing on some dates because there are several dates where no one has listed an interview. Hope this helps ease your mind!!
  21. Don't stress! I was told they received ~900 applications, and if our math is correct (which it's not), the total number of interviews would exceed the number of applicants.
  22. They are interviewing on Friday. I have a Friday interview.
  23. I talked to **** today and she basically told me the same thing. I will be declining UTMB's offer. That leaves one more spot open. Good luck everyone!
  24. I made several attempts to ask her if I could be put in the interview pool, but she kept cutting me off and then told me "I can't answer anymore questions." It was very frustrating. I'm kind of scared to call them again. Thanks for your advice! I'll try the Dean. I think I spoke to the Associate Dean, but not sure.
