Why can't I find an LPN job?
Hi nitalpn, Just wondering if you found an LPN job and where you ended up? I just graduated from Nursing school as an LPN and have started sending out resumes. Thanks....

Jobs are everywhere!!!
(2nd career change) I am graduating in 2 weeks and I was wondering what state you live in? It is very disheartening to hear that it is going to be that difficult to find a job.

Help! I failed my first test in Fundamentals
Hi, I would talk to the teacher and find out where you went wrong and how you might need to study differently. I am in the LPN Program and am just finishing up my first quarter. I was use to making really good grades in my prereq. classes and when I started taking tests in Fundamentals I started making C's. I am also in my 40's and although it has been hard, I have made it through my first quarter. Don't get discouraged just keep studying. :)

LPN or RN Chattahoochee Tech? HELP PLEASE!
]ohhh, gotcha. I'm trying to apply to that program as well. Chatt is causing me trouble b/c they will not let me take the required nutrition course. Grrr. I am in the LPN program at Chattahoochee Tech and you normally take the nutrition class when you are in the program the first quarter.

I need your advice on the TEAS test!
I just got home from taking my teas test. They didn't have the results immediately, I had to wait two hours to find out if I passed. I just checked and I did pass with a 76% which I am very happy about. I have been out of school for a long time and have studied intensely for the past month. The reading was just like the ATI Book. The science was very hard for me, I had to practically guess on all of the questions. I did this by eliminating the answers that I knew probably wasn't right and then choosing the one that I thought best matched the question. The post above is very accurate as far as the questions, I think I had the same test as her. The one thing I wish I could have changed, was the time we had to finish each section. I found that on the Math part, I was rushing and didn't really have any spare time to check my answers. You might want to brush up on the amount of time you take to do the problems in the book. I scored 10% higher on the actual test, than on the practice test. Hope this helps.
