How did you cover your tuition costs?
Hi everyone!! Im beginning to get very stressed and I haven't even started NS yet. Im starting to think I might not even make it that far :. Im enrolled in an accelerated BSN program at Chamberlain college of nursing, and im suppose to be starting in October. The tuition there is very pricey. I got some money for school through fafsa and I also recieved a few scholarships. But i still have quite a bit left to cover. How have you all paid for school? just loans? or what?

- Patient Care Tech/CNA-same thing?
thank you all for your input i really appreciate it!!! :)- Patient Care Tech/CNA-same thing?
Ok so I am in the process of getting my CNA license and after I get certified I was wanting to transfer to a hospital and work as a patient care tech. I have been told that a patient care tech and a CNA are the same thing and I have also been told that they are not. Does anyone know the real answer to this? If they are not the same thing what other certifications do you need to be a patient care tech?- Anyone going to or went to Chamberlain College of Nursing-St. Louis Campus?
I need some advice. I start at Chamberlain's accelerated BSN program in October, and I've really been stressing about it. Im going to be a first time college student and I am really nervous because I have no idea what college life is like!! The school is very pricey which means I'm going to have a lot of loans. I feel that my financial advisor is no help. I have requested a new one and I've gotten no response. What should I do about that? And also if any of you have already been through this program before i have a few questions. 1) What was your first semester like? 2) How are the instructors? 3) How many hours a week did you spend studying? 4) How many hours were you able to work a week and still be able to manage doing homework? 5) What supplies did you buy for your first semester? 6) What things did you find to come in handy? (such as things you did to keep you energized, stress free as possible, or things that helped you study) 7) Where can i find a place to purchase cheap books? 8) Do you feel that a PDA/iphone/ipod touch is necessary? And finally 9) What kind of school bag do you prefer? Sorry this thread is so long and that there are a lot of questions, but like I said I'm freaking out about this and any advice or answers will help!! Thank you :)- Anyone going to or went to Chamberlain College of Nursing-St. Louis Campus?

yes i understand that! i know there will be a ton of work and i am willing to take the challenge, im a tough girl! :) if i didnt know what i was getting into i wouldnt have done it!! haha!! but thanks for your input!!- BSN QUESTIONS!!!!
I as well just graduated high school and am accepted to chamberlain college of nursing for their accelerated BSN program. you get finished in three years versus four. i think its a better route to go for than getting an associates in nursing which takes two years.. may as well go for the BSN, whats one more year.- What do you wish you were told on the first day?
Wow, a lot of this sounds vicious!! I start nursing school in October, and this has made me a little more nervous:no:- A thread EVERYONE should read before posting
I don't think it really matters how the post is written as long as you can understand what the OP is trying to say.- Celebrate Your Fall 2010 Acceptances Here!!!
