Ms. Jazzo, You should email that lady and ask what they want and if documented proof from your doctor will work.

Yah, a little more clarification. Where does it state we need the flu shot? Also, did you guys upload all 9 of the requirements we have posted? Connie Washam told me that she thinks we just need to upload the CON Health Form along with proof of insurance and CPR certification. UPDATE: Connie replied and told me that we need to have a titer done if we have had chickenpox. So its either an immunization or a titer. I know someone replied to me earlier saying they just uploaded a date, it seems like this won't work for them.

This uploading stuff is confusing. I know I cant be the only one who doesnt have a varicella vaccine because I had the chicken pox as a child, so what are you guys uploading instead of proof of the varicella? Also, how did everyone go about getting the ppd done do you just go to a local clinic and ask for a ppd and physical exam? Im still in college so I dont have a family physician here. Thanks

UCF 2010-2011 accelerated nursing program
great point, if there is anyone else trying to decide between ucf and uf keep that in mind. however, my goals are geared toward anesthesiology (which requires a year of icu experience) so the transition has no bearing on me. which is why i want to graduate earlier and start getting some experience. its a little disheartening leaving gainesville but i think i am ready for a change! im not sure if you go to uf but you will love it here, thats for sure.

I got accepted also, but I just can't get myself to waste an entire summer and then graduate in December and lose months of pay and experience that I need to later apply to graduate programs. I really don't understand why UF changed their curriculum like that, their "accelerated program" starts the same time as their traditional program and ends only 1 semester prior. However, the traditional program will now have the summer off so the accelerated program is just as long as the traditional. Anyway goodluck to you. Ive been to UCF three times now, and their housing (at least compared to housing in Gainesville) isn't any good. They are very expensive and most of the complexes near campus are run down. There are a couple that are nice like The Edge, but they are currently at full capacity, and The Lofts, but ive never seen such a small bedroom! Take a tour and youll understand what I mean. I will be starting a new thread to see if anyone is interested in a house 5-6 minutes from campus, its a 4 bedroom home in a Gated Community that costs 1500 a month. Split 4 ways, it is much less then an apartment. We currently have two bedrooms left. If anyone on this thread is interested let me know. I will post a picture of the house but you can PM for further details.

What is everyone doing for housing? I spent an entire day today looking at apartments around UCF and I truly wasnt impressed by many at all. Im finishing undergrad at UF, and the apartments around here are not only much more affordable but they are all around and easy to sign a lease. Half the places I visited didn't allow summer leases unless you were to sublease, a couple of places very close to campus were full on capacity, and not many places come furnished like they do in Gainesville. If anyone is looking for roommates PM me and we can talk, id rather be with people in my program then random UCF people.

I got in as well, but I feel like I have so many questions that are unanswered by their website. When is transfer orientation? Is it positive the start date of the program is May 17th? Ill be going to UCF in the next week or so to look around for apartments, that should be fun. Anyone have an idea of where theyre going to live?

UF Accelerated BSN - May 2010 Applicants
Does anyone know if you can get in with a below 500 verbal score? I hope to not have to retake the GRE, I did well in math but scored below 500 in verbal.
