Ah, right, they are on break! I just noticed their website changed the notification deadline to just say “March” instead of “mid March.” Yes, hoping we get some good news soon!

I also applied to the post master’s certificate program! Interviewed on 2/24 and am waiting to hear back. Has anyone received a response from Hopkins yet?

Those of you who live in SF may have news waiting for you in today's mail! I live in the same zip code as USF and my letter came today.

THANKS!! I'm pretty pleased. I had not called her - she just called out of the blue. She didn't say anything about letters in batches or any such. So...fingers crossed for everybody! I wish good things for everyone on this discussion!!

I actually just got a call from Megan McDrew this afternoon - she called to let me know I was admitted! She also said letters went out TODAY, so it may be a couple more days before anything shows up in the mail.

I just got the email that the official decision has been posted on the application page! SO NICE to see it in print and real! This comes after I had a ridiculous bad dream about UCSF changing their mind about my admission.

I actually got a late early-admissions call from my 3/5 interview - they tried to reach me the night of the interview and again that weekend, and they finally left me a message the middle of last week. Excitement! But they did also say they would be mailing out the rest of the decisions "later this month," which I know isn't the most helpful timeline ever.

looking west, welcome! Hope to see you in a few months. Sandman, I'm looking at doing a medical Spanish immersion in Guatemala for a month or so before school starts. There are several schools in Xela (Quetzaltenango), so I'm deciding between a couple of those. Also, looking to see when plane fare gets cheap again. It went up $200 in one day while I was being indecisive. I figure my last vacation for some time is probably worth that expense!

I hear you Sandman...I just posted my job today and it is very, very surreal. Now I'm trying to buy a plane ticket to head out of the country for a while before the program starts. Weird yet thrilling!

I also called and found out I got accepted to the FNP specialty!!!! And I echo not being afraid to call: the office was very kind and helpful. They know we're all waiting nervously online here.

FINALLY! I got an email for an interview on 3/5. I was starting to feel sorry for myself having started this thread and not getting an interview. Those of you who are still waiting to hear...there is still hope for us!

Lauren, I'm with you in the anxiety boat! I called the admissions office on Friday to get some idea of their timeline, and they said they got a lot more apps than in past years and were taking a bit longer than usual to get through them to schedule interviews. Hopefully more of us will hear in the next few days!

They do not have interviews - it's based entirely off your application. I did get an email from the nursing school administrative assistant saying my application had been received and was complete, and the message said VERY EMPHATICALLY to refrain from contacting their office until they send out acceptance/rejection notices in April. They will be the last school I applied to to send out notification.

I wore a lady-suit, as did many of the other people in my group on Friday afternoon. There were also several people in business casual, like nice sweaters with trousers.

The other threads on SMU on this site have mentioned interviewing about 60-80 applicants for 22-24 spots. It sounds like they do several group interviews and try to schedule about 20 applicants per slot. Did everybody apply to the FNP specialty? Any CM applicants out there as well?
