  1. Hey, good luck with your official results and remember that every failure is a setup for a come back! Maybe your strategy needs to be altered in terms of preparing differently than before. Take a few days off to rest and clear your mind. However, don't GIVE UP or GIVE IN. Stay encouraged!
  2. Hey Kace, Maybe you can help me with this. I will be taking a pre-employment pharmocology test at St. Barnabas. Do you remember if they give a study guide on the things to study, is the exam difficult?
  3. Thank you to everyone. Now I have a better understanding :-)
  4. Hey, I will ask tomorrow. May I ask, what is in your study packet? Thank- you.
  5. Hello All, I am a new graduate that will be taken a pharmocology pre- employment test next week and do not know what to expect!! I pulled out and dust off my Med- Math book, but it seems to go into too much depth. What can I expect as far as conversionas are concerened ( examples, list of the measurements)? Please someone, anyone!!
  6. Katz78 can you give me an idea too. I' m also a new grad seeking employment in NY!
  7. Hey Reese, I recently took my NcLex last Friday July 15th and passed. The book you are requesting more information on is: Prioritization, Delegation and Assignment by Linda Lacharity. This book is a LIFE-SAVER. It strictly focuses on the P/D/A, and its analytical and application style Q's t will ensure your guaranteed pass on the NCLEX. I suggest you use this book a week and a half before your test.
  8. Kudos to you!!!!!!!!!! I know the feeling of being accepted! Finally in my senior year officially starting next week. Nursing has many rewards and being a student nurse people really deem you as prestigious! Way 2 go!
  9. Hey, I am a junior nursing student attending the Mount and there nursing program is serious business! Well, the pre-req aren't that bad, but the clinical part is really massive. Be prepared to not have a life, and live, breathe, and even crap nursing :-) I do think it's doable, just stay focused and keep your goals in sight! You can do this!!- Shereece
  10. Hey, I could understand the way you feel and it is perfectly normal. I am a junior nursing student and I do feel an elevated level of anxiety at times (especially right before my nursing tests, but always seem to pass through it). Just remember to stay focused and stay positive. You can do this!
