Johns Hopkins or University of Maryland??
OMG!!!! I just made the choice to attended JHU and after reading the last few replys I feel uneasy!!!! Well, I guess I have to live with it now and choke up the debt....wish there were more people praising JHU...Where are the JHU students anyway???
-
Johns Hopkins or University of Maryland??
Thank you for your replys! I am leaning toward JHU but Im receiving feedback from non-nurses implying that it makes more sense to go to UMB and do the MSN/CNL program in 16 months and graduate with a MSN as opposed to a BSN.... Im very frustrated, because most nurses I spoke to are telling me to start off with a BSN get a few years of exp. then decide which area (MSN) to go into. Im torn!!!!!!!!!!!!! pLS CONTINUE TO GIVE YOUR ADVICE AND REASONING

WHERE are the CNL's??????
Yea, I know they dont open back up untill the 4th. University of Maryland is the school Im interested in.

Skill set of new MSN grads
what does "kwim" mean? After the RN experience, what roles do the CNL's serve in the hospital?
-
WHERE are the CNL's??????
a CNL is a clinical nurse leader its a MSN degree program
-
WHERE are the CNL's??????
I was recently accepted into a CNL program over Christamas and I havent been able to contact any advisors at the school since it was the holiday. I would LOVE to get some input for CNLs I'm in desperate need of advice!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Skill set of new MSN grads
I have been admitted into a BSN and CNL/MSN program and from reading the previous post I'm assuming that most of you are already nurses. So, are you nurses saying that it is wiser to get a BSN and some experience before a MSN?? Also, as a new CNL grad would I work bedside first before obtaining a CNL role??? Are CNL roles marketable??
-
Johns Hopkins or University of Maryland??
Agrippa, are you in the CNL program at UMB??? If so are you in the 16month or 23 month?? To the other CNL/MSN critics, please continue to post replys. I'm looking for as much info/perspectivies as possible before I make a choice. I'm a bit hesitant because I havent been able to find any CNL's to speak with, where are they??? HELP!

Any CNL program grads out there?
thanks for replying!! I look forward to hearing from you as you continue in the program. I have been reading different reports about CNLs and how its not marketable; so im a bit hesitant about enrolling in the program? I want to make sure my job as a CNL won't confine me to the specific role if is not employable.
