Lisa, I had/have a similar situation- going from a business degree to nursing. You definitely need to go to a few schools in your area and let them review your transcript and work out a plan with you. I discovered that I had 2 semesters' worth of prerequisites that I would need for either an ADN or a BSN program in my area, because I lacked some of the BIO coursework. It turned out that the community college had a few prereqs (the CC required that some of the coursework be less than 2 years old) that the University did not require, and vice versa. I ended up taking the prereqs at the community college and will be switching to the university in January to begin their BSN program - I will graduate with my BSN the same month/year that I would have graduated with an ADN from the CC. If I had gone the ADN route (even though I already have a bachelor's degree) It would still take another year upon completion to obtain my BSN in a local RN to BSN program.
