  1. Good luck to you as well! Yes, I dont like the idea of taking another chem course lol. Thinking I am going to also apply to aacc, ccbc, bowie state
  2. hi i know its early, but i just got all my stuff for spring 2011 cnl program at umb turned in. i didn't get accepted to the bsn for fall so i am applying for the cnl for spring. any other applicants out there yet? [color=#00bfff]
  3. Thanks that is good to know! I will keep that in mind if I dont get into aacc this term. letters are going out the week of june 1st, and there is a mandatory meeting june 9 for the people who got accepted.
  4. ok thanks for the info! So do you know if it is harder to get into ccbc if you are not a Baltimore county resident?
  5. Thanks for the encouragement! I dont know if I should even bother reapplying for spring. I guess I could re-take a class or 2 to bring up my GPA. I dont know. I have a bachelors in healthcare management so maybe I should just get a job. I really want to be a nurse though!
  6. My status changed today, I was not accepted. So all of you BSN applicants should be hearing anytime now. Congrats to those of you who get in!
  7. You will be ok! No one has heard from UMB yet, as they keep pushing their decision time out. Now they are saying all final decisions should be out by May 1. So dont sweat that yet. Im hoping I get in there. I also applied to AACC, and wont hear from them until June sometime.
  8. yes this has been a long couple of months! wow i hope the decisions are out by may 1, not may 30th. at this point though, im glad to know that i haven't been denied and that the process is just behind. so, it means technically still good news, but i am still nervous! trying to keep busy with the many other things i have going on however, it doesn't stop me from checking my status everyday haha.
  9. thanks for the responses! it makes me feel more hopeful:redbeathe knowing im not the only one who hasn't heard! wow this is a really nerve racking wait~! and keeps getting longer.... i know fall seems far off but it isnt and id love to be able to start planning everything i need to depending on where (if at all) i get in. hoping for the best! hoping we will all get to be classmates this coming fall! hang in there everyone
  10. So Im assuming for BSN applicants, if we haven't heard anything yet and no status change yet that means we didnt get in? Does anybody know? I am still finishing up 2 pre reqs this semester too so I dont know if that has anything to do with it or not.
  11. Well you should be happy! They flat out told me they couldn't offer me a spot at this time Ive heard most people waitlisted at Towson end up getting in. Congrats! Now Im waiting to hear from MD and AACC.
  12. I emailed her this morning too and she sent me the same letter via email. Im interpreting this as my changes of getting in are smaller at this point.
  13. I applied to the BSN program, and have still not heard. My status says committee ready still. Mid-April, ugh. This is such a hard wait! Everybody let us know when you hear!
  14. Has anyone else gotten their letters or status updates this week? I haven't gotten anything yet and my status is still the same. Im really starting to get anxious now!
  15. i'm curious, am i the only bsn applicant who hasn't had a status change yet or what? still committee ready.... i know they said we should hear by april i guess i'm just getting super anxious since so many other bsn applicants have already heard.
  16. so, has anyone heard anything more from towson yet? this whole process is so stressful, just anxiety about getting in somewhere. hopefully not much longer
  17. I am a BSN applicant and haven't heard yet, hope that isnt bad news.... My status still says committee ready.
  18. Thanks for all the helpful info everyone. No status changes here for me yet
  19. I took the NET, but I think they are phasing that out so I dont know how similar the TEAS is to that. I went in with no prep, I think I scored at the average score for the areas they look at. I think I could have done much better had I of prepped. It is alot of questions and info. I am not a good tester either though. Im not sure about how many times you can take it, I think you can only submit your scores to them once. So Maybe you could take it and not have your scores sent anywhere and then retake it and send your scores Im not sure. Im sure the testing center who administers the tests could answer that though
  20. Cool, I got the same letter today as well. More waiting! But at least there is no bad news!
  21. oh yea I know that, I will be a second bachelors degree student so they told me not to apply to the University until I am actually accepted into the nursing program. I should be fine there though, I have my bs from towson already.
  22. hmmm, idk. May depend on when your application was considered complete, like when everything that they needed was turned in. Or like Grey Lady mentioned, they may be farther ahead in the process, but behind with updating the online status! I keep telling myself no news is good news at this point.
  23. haha, I know what the heck! If we are the only applicants around then it has to be good news right? lol. I know you said they already accepted you.... I would love to hear from Towson or MD, come on any time now!!!:bowingpur
  24. Yeah I got a voice mail from them a few weeks ago as well, saying everything was complete and telling me the three classes I had to complete. So they sent you an email saying you were accepted?
  25. Pretty sure their spring break is this coming week march 15, sigh. I was hoping mine would change by the end of the day today, but so far nothing.
