  1. [Hey Ari, thanks for your words last night. I think I was "hitting a wall" and did feel a bit like I was drowning... I'm back to normal now! :chuckle I was in the library at 4:00 am this morning when I checked my email on my phone. You gave me hope! Thanks :balloons:
  2. Hi everyone! I am so stressed out right now. I thought I would take a break from my studying to see what was new with everyone. I have a med/surg test in the morning and although I don't think that it is horrifically hard this will be my 4th test in a row. I really just want to go to sleep. . . ahhaha but I know that I can't. I had Applied Pharmacology, Assessment, and Pathophysiology at the end of last week, med surg tomorrow, five page paper on anxiety(i know, ironic) a path flow chart for pathophysiology on diabetes, one full care plan on any patient I have had so far, an indept paper write-up on my lab partner about their health, a presentation to write for clinical on AIDS/HIV regarding case studies, my usual 10 med cards and care standards with citations...and hummm....when I finish all that I then get to begin to study for the nursing process midterm that is worth 30% of the grade. . . I really just want to go to sleep. . . Does anyone feel as overwhelmed as me?It's only been 6 weeks. . . i have 3 more semesters. . . .
  3. I'm a tested and proven INTJ and yes I do have a bit of an anxiety problem. I do great when I'm by myself with a pt. but my clinical group tends to be VERY clingy. There are eight of us on a very intense floor and I swear four are attached at the hip. The clinical teacher separates them but they just go and hide somewhere. BUT when "they" have a question they search for me! HAHA, I'm really nice but my anxiety is growing as the weeks progress. No one knows I have anxiety and I am able to control it while I'm on the floor but on Tuesday I went home and "got sick." My nerves were just shot. Anyone have any ideas? I have so many stories haha and not enough time! Bye
  4. I have a friend in a program offered at Colombia in New York. It's a Dr.N. (don't quote me but its along those lines) It's the clinical doctorate for nursing. She even has a residency and everything. . .
  5. Temple University, Philadelphia Pa
  6. Hi, I just actually went two days ago to the uniform store to do the whole "starting nursing school" thing. The man tried to sell me the nursemate line but I went with the dansko "piper." I have a really wide foot(8 1/2 double wide) so I'm used to having to buy the bigger sizes but the piper has an elastic give on the top of the foot. I paid 95.00 but I would rather have comfortable feet than an extra forty in my pocket. . .
  7. hey , i go to temple and know nick but not his last name. . .look him or any of them up at http://www.temple.edu and find the cherry and white pages. . .every student that goes to temple is in there. . if i see him on campus i'll pass the word along for you
