  5. Hello everyone. I am 22yrs old and currently attending school at a community college for my RN Nursing degree. i just started my pre-reqs. I was wondering if i should just go for my LPN or stay in school for my RN degree. I am already accepted for an LPN program in August of 2010. I am just afraid if I stay in school for my RN, i might not get accepted into the RN program since its so much competition out there. if i don't get accepted, i don't know what i would do. that's why I want to have my LPN license. if that was to happen, I would have something to fall back on. And let me know honestly, If i would be wasting my time going for my LPN first? THANKS
