Hi darrarizer, you did better than I did. I did not complete most of the sections, I ran out of time. Maths, I think is was easy, maybe because I like maths. English/Reading, I struggled in this area, because english is my 2nd lang. You did pretty good in the Science. I found the science difficult. I received good grades for all my pre-reqs sciences. It was sad that I could not apply the concepts on the teas test. Most programs seems to look at the scores for the maths & science only, while some require certain scores for each tested area. Which means you can not offset the score if you scored low in another area. I think it all depends on the school. Inquiry from your school. You maybe lucky...just never know. Good Luck!

Natalie, sorry to hear your experience on the teas test. I have to retake my test because I did poorly on nearly all the sections. The maths, I thought was very easy, maybe because I like maths, the only problem there for me was the time was too short to complete it, so I did not finish. The english/reading, may be too, but I cannot say for sure, I struggled in this area, because english is my 2nd langauge. The science, I completely agree with you is difficult. I studied from the ATI TEAS study guide. It did not help with science. I think the maths is similiar. English/reading, maybe the same. My school, only allow twice a yr. I hear some schools, 3 or more, and highest score is used. On the results, ATI put the last time the exam was last taken. I think the best thing is to check with your school to be sure they will accept it if you score higher next time you take the test. Good Luck!

Hi shoecollector, have you tried the TEAS study guide from the co. ATI. They make the exam. The maths is very similar to the test. The reading and english is close too ...I think, I can't say for sure, because I didn't finish my test, the time runs fasts. I struggled in this area because english is my 2nd language. But, I can tell you for sure, that the science is totally differently. The study guide is not helpful for this section of the test. I passed all my nursing pre-requistes with good grades, some A's and B's, but I'm sad to say, I did poorly on the teas test. Is easy and simple if you can work fast, not a hard test. I will retake the test on nov. 17th. There's another study guide recommended here on allnurses, called Nursing School Entrance exam by MGgraw Hill for the TEAS science section, you may want to check it out. Good Luck!

Teas maths, is similiar to the book. But you have to be able to calculate fast. Good Luck. I did not pass, I have to retake it on nov.12th.

Hi, eliymo, thanks for this post. This is very helpful. I remember some of this showed up on my tests. However, i failed the tests. I like the maths, it was simple, but no time, i did not finish. english, reading & science was difficult. I studied hard for the test. The book from teas is helpful for the maths, maybe for the english and reading, definatly not for science. English is my second lang. So, i struggle in this area and did not finish. I was not happy with the science questions, because it did not ask question, on A&P, i think only 2 questions. I pass all my class exams with good grades. But my teas score is too low, im embrass to say this. I have another chance to retake it on nov.12th, i hope i pass. Congratulations for passing the TEAS Exam!

Hi, jkonopasek, the maths, is the same, i think the english and reading too. English is my second language, sorry, i can not say for sure. But the science is a different story. Is completely different. I think you have to apply concepts. I did not pass. I will have to retake on nov.12th. Good Luck!

I did not finish, time go fast. english, reading, & science, very difficult. i prepare with teas study guide, but no luck. i like to know how you answer these if you dont mind, may be we can review together. i have one more chance to retake. Hi,sacstate, I remember something similar to this in my exam. i have to practice more spelling. The english, reading,and science I find very difficult, english is my second langauage. I like maths, i think your answer is correct because, i remember that, unfortanately, i did not finish. the maths has some table with too many large numbers, i think is simple, but time too short. I cried after i finish the test, because i know the maths but no time. i hope i pass next time. i retake on nov.12. Did you pass? maybe you can help me.
