  1. Hey folks who got waitlisted, our deadline for preregistration is the end of this week. If folks fail to complete these they would lose their spot in the program. It sounds like Friday isn't a final cut date, and folks may be given a grace period if they are still tracking down documents. But if someone bails, doesn't pass background or drug test spot(s) may open up by the end of next week? Don't wanna give false hope but that may be your best shot I'd think. Good luck.
  2. Hey is anyone in the Charlotte area? Might be good to set up a local study group?
  3. Hey I got in too, FT FNP distance program. Considering ortho concentration.
  4. I also got invited for an interview 6/11. Bright& early. Good luck all.
  5. I applied for the online FT FNP program. Best of luck to all, let's try to keep each other in the loop re notifications etc. I think the anticipation is the worst part of the process.
  6. Got decision letter UNCC, no for me. Good luck to all.
  7. UNCC peeps, a check of my online application status (previously read as 'ready for review') now has this status: APPLICATION REVIEW STATUS: Your application is COMPLETE and a DECISION has been made. When your decision letter is available for viewing you will see a VIEW DECISION LETTER link below, to the right of the Application Status line. This document is best viewed with the free Adobe Reader (formerly called Adobe Acrobat Reader) software. Get Adobe Reader ......and now I'll be hitting refresh on my email account until I get a message.
  8. Ash, micu, jrst, & any other UNCC FNP applicants- I called today and they said that "notification for that program has been delayed until the week of April 28". The lady's tone was pretty sharp, I'm guessing I'm not the first caller about notification. But they could've sent out an email that told us about the delay. I'm just glad I'm not planning on re-locating, that would be tough.
  9. Ash, Micu (or any other UNCC applicants)-- 5pm on the 15th, Any news??
  10. Ash I did get a letter saying they got my app, and mid apr they will begin notifications. I'm emotionally drained. Just get on w it.
  11. Ash- called them today, 'due to inclement weather', notifications won't go out till mid Apr. Super.
  12. Ash- mid march is what I got from one of the FNP admissions staff. But if u heard different from the director, I'd go w that. I'm surprised they'd wait till April to admit considering u have the option to start in the summer.
  13. Ashleigh, I too applied to uncc. Waiting to hear soon! I understand that we'll be notified by email, I was also told that we'd hear by mid March.... Still waiting. Don't know if u can pm on this forum but let me know when you find out!!! I'll do the same. Good luck!
  14. So I'm still waiting on a letter, I'm trying to squeeze some kinda information from the posts going on out there. I'm in Cat 1 finished preq's in fall 08, should I conclude that I made it in? I don't wanna get my hopes up, I'm pretty sure that my mailman thinks I'm stalking him.
  15. I talked to someone at SCC in the RN program on Friday, they said that Notifications were going out this week. Of course that means they might get mailed on Fri.
