Exam is not required. Do the online applications. Application by endorsement then pay I think 180 and call the board that way you fully sure.

Okay nice. It gave the option. I filled it out and added it to my basket. I live in texas so am not sure if out of state is treated same way. But once I my pay check ll pay for it and wait to see what happens. Thank you guys and when I pass my RN, i will shear my story that's originally what I studied for although overseas.

Okay nice. Would recommend going ahead to pay even though I have not gotten a letter yet. I took the exams 09/24/19 and I have been getting same kind of pop up even till today.

FENS Refresher Course UpdateEffective: July 14, 2016? Effective immediately, the Texas Board of Nursing (BON) no longer requires internationally educated nurses to complete the Foreign Educated Nurses Refresher Course (FENS) as a postrequisite to passing the NCLEX for the Texas BON. Internationally-educated applicants are eligible for initial licensure in Texas: 1) if the individual graduated from an approved foreign nursing education programwithin the past four years, or 2) if the individual graduated from an approved foreign nursing education program MORE than four years ago, BUT HAS PRACTICED NURSING WITHIN THE PAST FOUR YEARS. If an internationally-educated applicant is not eligible under either of the above two categories,then he/she must re-educate, or obtain initial nurse licensure by exam in another state, then endorse into Texas.All internationally-educated applicants for Texas nurse licensure must pass the NCLEX-PN or NCLEX RN within four years of his/her graduation date or date of licensure eligibility. What does ‘date of licensure eligibility' mean? Thank you am already back to studying and i have paid for my exams... will send the application on Monday. i dont have a choice. Although am seriously frustrated because i dont think is content. but am yet to see the analysis. i did the quick result things this afternoon. i am a disgrace to my family and all they friends wishing me well and waiting to see me pass.

it just seems like you are describing my experience..... i dont want to make my family spend money for another book or test plan. wish i had some to borrow me Uwold it is virtually the only thing i have not used.

God does not do for man what they can do for themselves.... So if you cant control the emotion then do the PVT trick. secondly worrying would not change your performance....entertain that it is possible to fail even if you dont want to. Keep the plans in your heart but i dont think you will fail. i am watching movies to distract my self. i did mine on the 12th july 2016. i have some feeling you passed. Good lock

Yeah....i know how difficult that is.It is a lot of use if you get help. Am doing mine in Texas but When i am ready for travel Nursing am sure California is on my list. Well you can find people on craigslist who will let you stay in the house for the whole time for like 500 usd instead of paying 200 usd a night in a hotel. i am in Texas and dont know much people in cali or you can go to cali area of this forum and find some to rent with for the time.

Okay...but am sure you taking the exam before me, if yours is Monday. Where are you flying in from and what city are you taking you exams. i have gone thru that my dear. i spent money to fly in here and do alot of stuff thank God i have a blessed soul and kind brother that house and cared for me like his own child. He said all you need to do is to study and pass......i really do not want to disappoint him. HE has so much confidence and have sacrificed a lot.......

Thanks...still you feel very inadequate especially when some shouldered all you financial responsibility just to make sure you had to do only reading and he is expecting a must pass. Plus you need to pass to remain in the USA. Well like i said i do not care what is going to happen, i will go there and do my best. i am satisfied in my self. i have 4 years ED experience in Nigeria , plus i did a degree in England but this preparation for this exam made me feel like i do not know anything in Nursing. However, i am most grateful to God that i got this far at least. If the exam is to be a fail then i would proudly and intelligent accept my limit but can not give up in my self.
