  1. Also my question is do I wait the 8-10 weeks stated on the website for temp license to contact??? Or the 12-16 for permanent? I am a new grad and find it outrageous to take this long to endorse!!! I graduated in AZ and had a license number next day after testing! Right now I am stuck as a CNA because my hospital won't orient me as an RN til the breeze website has an RN license number. It's frustrating.
  2. How do I find their info?
  3. Hello everyone! So on 9/16 I found out I passed the NCLEX-RN i sat for the AZ board because I attended school in AZ i live in California and intend to work in California on 9/16 I completed my livescan, 9/17 I submitted the licensure by endorsement package online, nursys verification, transcripts sent via mail sealed from colleges. On 9/19 I mailed my forms for temp license with $50 Check at this time it says Open and pending I called the board and asked if they received all the documents and they did not answer my inquiry at this time my check has not been cashed! online processing time for temp license is 8-10 weeks and permanent is 12-16 😱 Which seems ridiculous to me!!!! Help from any newly licensed by endorsement RNs would be awesome to get a realistic timeframe thank you
  4. How did you prepare? I took NCLEX 7/13 got 133 questions and failed it took my 1hr 40 min
  5. I do think math is failing level when those popped up i blanked and after I was so mad because I know med math but I didn't practice simple med math like ml/HR or per 90 min it's still a shock but I have to gather all my knowledge and apply it! I start Uworld Monday and I got LaCharity PDA also I'm using Saunders to review content plus the Kaplan content book. I have approx. 45 days to retest and I need to use every day!
  6. Thanks I plan on buying Uworld i am taking a week off after this experience just to regroup and give my brain a break. I am going to setup a solid study plan and focus on content and my question answering strategy praying it all works!
  7. Thanks. I am taking today to cry it all out and starting Monday I'm back on the study boat! My BON should be sending me the packet to retest which could take "couple" weeks they said so Monday I'm starting Saunders and Uworld so that I can finish both of them by the time I retest I also am going to review my Kaplan book for questions but in conjunction with Saunders i feel I had issues with content also I'm going to review some math!!! I had 3 math on the nckex and I feel as if I over though the math!! Since I hadn't done math in awhile
  8. Uworld seems doable since it's only. $59 better than the Kaplan $399 review course. Ncsbn is good and I feel I didn't use it to its full potential
  9. Yeah I am jumping back on studying Monday I want to retest in the 45 days I plan to do the Uworld 30 day review and read the PDA book also am open to another other review recommendations thanks
  10. I felt I was good question wise but there was content I had no idea there was a lot of pharm! I am going to start uworld Monday I also got the lacarty PDA on its way cannot let time go on. I have to retest
  11. Congrats I took my NCLEX July 13 and found out today I failed í ½í¸ I did NCSBN, mastery, Saunders and Kaplan questions I am going to do Uworld honestly I feel I did not set a good study plan and there were questions that threw me off!!! I had EKGs! And I have all kinds of pictures I feel defeated right now
  12. Did you think Uworld was helpful? i did NCSBN 3 week course and focused on test bank not lessons. I took nckex and failed at 133 questions
  13. Thanks! Yeah I am not waiting. I will retest in the 45 days!
  14. It's just the shock stage right now in nursing school I got by but the NCLEX had questions and topics I felt I'd never seen before. And everyone said if you get a ton of SATA your good and that wasn't the case i know I should take the day off but I want to be proactive and I want to "fix" this!
  15. I took my NCLEX RN yesterday. Computer shut off at around 133 questions. I had over 20 SATA, I had math, drag and organize and I had 3 EKG strips!!! I felt was doing ok and found out this morning I failed. To prepare I did NCSBN 3 week course, mainly focused on the questions not do much the content of the lessons. I had the Kaplan book, I did over 400 questions there. Saunders book. I did the comprehensive exam in the back. And I used the mastery app. I would do 200-400 questions a day. I was calm going into the NCLEX and I felt good. And when the computer shut off I didn't know how to feel. My last question was SATA. Now i feel horrible and don't know how to prepare. I saw UWORLD but have not met anyone who's done it. Kaplan and Hurst are out of my price range. I also thought of doing the 5 week NCSBN and going lesson by lesson. Help please! I don't want to fail again. I can retest in 45 days and I want to pass!!!
