I personally did not benefit from Kaplan. I did about 80% of uworld and gained so much knowledge and also refreshed so much material. my friend used Kaplan the first time she took her nclex and failed and the next time around she did uworld and passed at 112 with ease!!!

hey I would score anywhere from 40-80 depending on the subject. I think what matters is how you do in comparison to the average score for that quiz. some quizzes are really hard and the average would be 35-45

hey thank you! all I did was uworld. it's a relatively cheap program and the questions are great with great rationales and explanations

not at all. I know some people swear by it but I personally felt very discouraged when doing Kaplan and also the rationales suck. so even if you get a question wrong it's hard to learn why you did. I loved uworld! I highly recommend it

yes you passed! it wouldn't have said so if you failed, the PVT doesn't work work all the time for people who passed, and it's also a matter of when you tried it. also the board of nursing in some states only update every week or so

I'm sorry you failed! I highly recommend uworld. The set up looks just like nclex and I got a few questions that were very similar to nclex. Uworld also has ekg strips and many pictures! don't feel discouraged, nclex is definitely difficult!

hey! I live in NJ I was surprised at how fast they put it up because I've heard that they only update it once a week. The good pop up seems to be very accurate though, I'm sure you passed!

I took my nclex yesterday Monday July 11. To prepare for it I used Uworld and Kaplan. I hated Kaplan because the rationales were terrible, it was very discouraging and I did not feel like I was gaining any knowledge. I did all of the uworld question bank and towards the end I was getting much better at it which made me feel like I was getting ready for my nclex. Although my exam shut off at 75 I was positive I failed. I went to my car and started hysterically crying bc in my mind there was no way I passed. I had less than 10 select all that apply and my last 5 questions were very simple. I did not feel comfortable answering any of the questions bc although they were general most of the answer choices were so similar. Sometimes I couldn't even narrow it down to 2 answers. My boyfriend took the test with me at the same time and he finished at 75 questions as well but he had 30 select all that apply and his last question was also select all that apply. So I was sure I failed! we both tried the Pearson Vue Trick after we received an email from Pearson about 30 minutes after we finished the exam and it did not let us register but I still was sure I failed! This morning I checked the board of nursing and both of our names were up there with our license number!! I still can't believe I passed but I feel so releaved! So if you don't get a lot of select all that apply and come out feeling terrible don't be discouraged! there is hope!!
