  2. Hello, Just wondering if anyone has heard if they have gotten into the Jan 2011 term? I still have not heard anything and I am getting a little anxious. Thanks, Cassie
  3. Hello, Anyone know what a new grad in the Green Bay area is getting now? Thanks, Cassie
  4. Hello All, I am attending Bellin in June 2011. Any advice or things I should be doing now to get me prepared? Anything will help. Cassie
  5. Hello, I applied to the spring program as well has anyone heard anything yet? I emailed them and they said mid-November. Also, has anyone heard anything about them losing their accreditation? I have heard many rumors and I am hoping that they are false? Could someone tell me more about the program and what it all involves? They really do not have a lot of information on their website and when I went to an informational session last spring I was not impressed. The two women leading it were very unorganized and did not have answers to many of the questions asked. Does the program use simulation dummies to teach hands on techniques? How are the classes run, is there power points, hands on or just lecture? If someone could please answer my questions, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Cassie
  6. I am also tryng to figure out a career change into the nursing field. If I have a degree already would I still be able to transfer into a 4 year BSN program and have classes transfer with me?
  7. My degree was in Molecular Biology. I pretty much just coasted through college paying more attention on working to pay the bills then studying. I mainly received all C's in my science classes. I live in Colorado right now, but would be willing to move to anywhere in the Midwest if I got into a program. I have been looking at possible applying to the four-year BSN program. Would I be able to use my general education credits from my first degree to possibly enter as a junior and start taking nursing courses right away? Any comments, advice or programs would be of great help to me. Thank you!
  8. i want to be a nurse but i cannot get into school anywhere. i have a bachelors degree with a gpa of 2.7 ( i know that it is low). i have 5 years of cna experiance and a year and a half of research. i have applied to seven bs to bsn programs but cannot get in because of my gpa. if anyone has any advice on a program or school that i should look at or even a different way that i could become a nurse it would be greatly appreciated. thank you for your help!
