  2. I'm also burnt out with LTC, and I'm really interested of being in an acute care setting..looking forward for more inputs.. :)
  3. thank you so much for the replies..now back to job hunting.. :)
  4. I was job hunting for the first time as a new RN, and I was confused with the titles with RN I, II and III..can someone please explain and do I need to do some special training or education to achieve those higher levels?
  5. congrats! well earned and deserved.. :)
  6. thank you guys, so this is what it feels like to be the one receiving those "congratulations" replies...appreciate it :)
  7. well I've studied in Kaplan for at least 2mos and the last month was all test taking..I try not to answer questions by quantity like, I need to do 200-300 questions a day---that's what I did the First time...I try to focus on getting quality out of the questions + rationales even if I could only do 75-100 items a day. And also I do not use the "study mode" on nclex softwares (NCLEXRN4000, Prentice Hall, Qbank) rather I use the "Quiz mode" so I could assess myself of my weakness and strengths and also to see if I'm consistent on every test sessions that I have.. hope this helps, :)
  8. I just want to thank this site and everyone who gave their contribution in conquering this monster of an exam, never had the courage to try PVT, had a bad first experience...failed at the first with 265 and just like everyone said...just don't lose hope and work hard, pray and you'll know that the juice was worth the squeeze..:)
  9. You can do it! God Bless You! :)
  10. thanks..would be taking mine on the 11th, let's take down this monster, god bless us all..:)
  11. thank you..really helpful..liked the tetris part..makes sense..
  12. stay strong, keep on praying..I'm also taking my exam on May, it's also my 2nd time..I failed with 265 questions too and could somehow relate to what you're experiencing..test anxiety causes memory loss so we need to keep our anxiety to a minimum..we know what it's like so I think we've got an advantage from hereon out..
  13. so I assume that PVT is more reliable?
  14. can someone enlighten me about C. Difficile?
  15. for me, the saunders CD was too easy and it kind of have a pattern that when you get used to it, it doesn't give you much challenge..but as for the book, I think it's ok..
