  1. what about applying w/ insurance companies? Blue Cross, has RN's that you can call to decide whether to go to the Dr, ask questions, etc... or as a school nurse? you might not run like in a hospital, but you'd have to walk a bit...
  2. University of Arizona didn't, but they are very competative. GPA, service and interview all count....
  3. Hi! I'm writing priority Nsg dx and interventions for a CA pt w/ who is on an experimental trial. She had an accident a month ago, and broke her femur. She was able to continue the CA Tx, but after 3 wks, her xrays show no healing process in the leg. She has a plate and screws in the leg, no evident infection, but no progress either. I thought of using: _ Risk For Infection; Insuffecient Immune System, but i don't really know how to get the postsurgical complication; impaired healing/delayed healing in there.... I also don't know for interventions, what to do except hygiene and avoidance of ill persons. I feel like that's not addressing the leg enough. Then what would be expected outcomes? Pt remains infection free. Pt exibits healing process? I don't feel like those are things that I can impact directly; esp the healing process part.... Then, I need a psycosocial dx, and am wanting to use: -Decisional Conflict; whether to delay chemo treatments to promote healing of broken leg, or to continue chemo, allowing possibly severely prolonged healing time, and increased risk of infection. Expected outcome; Pt will be supported in requesting information from her Dr regarding continuation of the chemo drug and the study, Pt's decision will be supported and advocated for. Pt will be empowered to make her own decision regarding continuation of care. I'd appreciate any help!! CFrag
