  1. I think after a day, my status became "active," and someone had "viewed" my application. The dept that actually called was not the one that viewed my application...so don't worry about how many times it was viewed or which posting it was viewed for too much. After that, it was all about phone calls.
  2. I know craziechiq, I feel the same way! I'll be on days. You?
  3. Yay! Congrats! Yes, I will be starting on the 4th! :) I don't know why...but I'm not going to complain! :)
  4. I applied on a Monday and heard back by the end of Friday, but I know that others have waited a few weeks. I applied for 5, but all of them were in the same general area.
  5. Thanks! :) Well, it really depends on the interviewer. I went on 3 different interviews over the past couple of months and only got behavioral questions (general and specific situations), but my friends got clinical questions on their interviews that were specific to the departments that they were applying for. I would suggest researching the hospital that you're interviewing with, show interest, prepare with answers to some general questions such as strengths, weaknesses, conflicts, plans, etc so you won't have to dig into the back of your mind for answers. Be ready to answer questions that you aren't prepared for though (don't be surprised). Think of questions that you want to ask at the end (it's okay to write them down). Hope this helps!
  6. Thank you!!! :) I'm starting on M/S! Good luck with your upcoming new grad program!

  8. hi micalove, i just wanted to thank you for all of the good advice. i applied for some positions on plaksa and just accepted a job at one of the hospitals! You're awesome! :)
  9. Hi micalove, thanks for all of the great suggestions! I was just wondering...when you applied for the positions on plaska, did the positions say "minimum one year" experience?
  10. Thanks! Good luck to you, too!!!! :)
  11. Hi all, I was wondering if anyone had their second interview this week yet and how it went! I'm really curious as to when final decisions will be made since the program is set to start soon!
  12. Hi all, I also interviewed on Monday (with the DOU at Mercy). I was incredibly nervous, too! I bet they get that a lot though especially with the way the interview room is set up. Wondering...did anyone get any information about when we should expect to hear back?
  13. congrats nychel! g'luck on the interview!!!
  14. hi all, i just read on another forum that someone just received the call for a panel interview, so it's starting! good luck everyone!
  15. Hi Bridgette, wondering...how long did you have to wait before applying for more jobs since the system won't let you apply for more than 3? I totally thought it was one of those systems that only allow you to apply for 3 per application. Thanks for all of your help!
