Miami Dade College (MDC) Fall 2012 Full-time/Part-time Nursing program
:) Glad to be an encouragement. I recommend calling or even showing up to verify. I heard of a girl who was accepted but didn't recieve a letter. She went before the deadline to respond and didn't get her seat taken away. Talk about a close call. But anyway if you have to apply again, do so. But I wouldn't give up hope yet

Studybuddy12, Don't give up. No matter what happens you keep going and persevere. The fat lady hasn't sung yet! There are people who applied to multiple programs and got accepted to all so they have to decline and their spot will open up fo the next person. Blessings & best of wishes and I hope you get in!

MDC vs Barry vs Mercy help! LPN at MDC trying to get a BSN
Mercy is NOT nationally accredited. They are only accredited by the state of Fl to allow you to sit for the nclex...DONT do it if you want a real COLLEGE degree!! Choose MDC or Barry. If money is an issue to you I say MDC...Barry is more expensive (debt is slavery)..Im an Lpn too and I got into both schools and it's MDC all the way for me. Just keep perservering!

really struggling with my decision...chewed out by another rn!
I know the feeling. I had a tough time at my job when I started out. Doesn't sound like you were wrong. Don't let no one put you down. You have worked so hard for this. You act safely and do no harm. The next nurses attitude is her problem. My advice is put it behind you. Forgive her in your heart. But cut homegirl off in her tracks with rationales if she tries down talking you again.
