  1. I have been an LVN for almost 20 years and I am now trying to enter an LVN to RN program at Dallas College. I don’t know any programs that are available online or evenings but I am commenting here because I would like to keep up with this thread to see what people have to say.
  2. Hello everyone! I am reaching out to see if anyone has applied to Dallas College LVN to RN program at Elcentro college. I turned my application in on 7/6 and now am anxiously awaiting the response.
  3. I received my denial letter also. I think I am not so bummed because I have already moved on to other options. I hope everyone enjoys their time in the program or whatever program you get into!
  4. Unfortunately I did not do well on the TEAS and I didn’t have time to retake it
  5. I don’t remember and I am at work right now. I know that my points were not very high though.
  6. I was reading a thread from another year and that put me under the impression that they don’t send out denial letters. Hopefully they will.
  7. Congratulations to everyone who made it! I didn’t receive my email so I am looking into other options!
  8. Congratulations!!! I haven’t received an email
  9. TrisLVN that is awesome that you are applying with your sister! Hopefully us currently being enrolled in Microbiology will not be an issue!
  10. The wait is going to drive me crazy! I know I am not applying in the best position, especially with me currently taking Microbiology but I am still hopeful. I am wishing us all the best!!
  11. I am making this thread in hopes of finding students that will be applying to the Collin College LVN to RN bridge program for Summer 2022. I am so nervous because I am still taking Microbiology but I was told to apply any way. I just wanted to create a space where we can be anxious together and wait the process out. I turned in my application on 03/30/2022 and I did not do well on the TEAS. I look forward to hearing from others!
  12. OK I work in geriatrics so: to ask where the call light is, to ask you to take off the bed alarm, to tuck their feet in te cover for the 100th time in the last 10 min!!! And any other craziness you can think of! You gotta love nursing
  13. I'm feeling the same exact way. I am tired of living life as an LVn and I want to move forward but I think I'm afraid of not having enough support to make it through school. Thanks for posting this question and I am looking forward to hearing the answers.
  14. Black Jade my personality sounds a lot like yours. I have some how learned to turn the smile on between 7-7 but if you catch me after hours I may not look very approachable. I'm not hardly ever in a bad mood I just look like that. I actually enjoyed working at a prison so maybe you should try it.
  15. i feel the exact same way. i am an lvn and i think i have been putting off going to rn school because i really don't want to do it. i loved nursing at one point and i still love the patients. everything else makes me dred coming to work. i have no clue what i could do that would generate the same amount of money or more. if anyone has any ideas plz post your input. i am really ashamed to admit that i am losing interest in the field.
