  1. Hello stephchu00... Just replying to your post here in allnurses. How did you apply for the job in MSKCC? Do you know somebody who work there or did you just submit an application online? I am just curious to know about the interview which you had in MSKCC? How was it? What were the questions that were asked from you? How many stages of interview did you have? Were you able to get the job? I am also a new grad with ICU training and gaining some experience. I would love to know info about your application process in MSKCC as I am interested to work in their SICU/MICU. Your response to this is highly appreciated. Other great nurses out there who worked or are currently working in MSKCC who has an answer to my questions are encouraged to reply.
  2. Hello LaynaER. I just want to know to whom did you address the cover letter which you sent to NYP when you applied for the newly graduate nurse program? Also, how long after you sent the application did you receive the reply from NYP? Your reply is highly appreciated. :)
  3. hello! westchester is a bit far from new york city. Aside from that hospital, do you know of any within the city of new york? Thanks!
  4. Hello everyone! I am a graduate nurse without a license from New York City. Currently, I am reviewing for the boards and while reviewing, I want to work as a graduate nurse in any hospital or nursing home here in New York City. I have a question: Does anybody know any hospitals or nursing homes in New York City particularly in Queens or Manhattan that accept graduate nurses without license like me? If somebody knows any, what are these hospitals and nursing homes. Your reply to this post is highly needed. Thank you very much.

  8. Hello everyone. I have some questions regarding the limited permit for lpn. I am a foreign educated nurse and currently I am in New York City. I have already applied and submitted my application faorms for NCLEX-RN to NY State BON and to CGFNS CVS and CGFNS is currently verifying my credentials. As a foreign educated nurse, I have few questions to ask regarding the application for licensed practical nursing limited permit. I have not yet taken the CGFNS exam and I do not have any CGFNS Certificate yet. My questions are: 1. What are the requirements for me to apply for LPN limited permit here in New York? 2. May I apply for licensed practical nurses limited permit even though the CGFNS is not yet done with the verification? 3. May I apply for the licensed practical nursing limited permit even though I havent taken the CGFNS exam because on item number 9 of Form 5, there is a question if i have already succesfully completed the CGFNS or CNATS? Thank you very much and I am hoping for your response.
