  1. Those ATI Comprehensive Finals are scary. At my school we had to get a 91% in order for us to be eligible for the administrator of my school to release transcripts to the Virginia Board of Nursing. I just graduated about two weeks ago from Practical Nursing. Anyway, basically the test is one of those is what you know or don't know kind of test. You'll be amazed on how mych you learned throughout the course of study. It only took me once to pass it and I got a 97%. It was 180 questions multiple choice, and select all that applies. My best advice to you is to practice your ATI's thoroughly (especially the Med-Surg's and Comprehensive Finals). Just have confidence in yourself.
  2. First of all what's up? In my opinion to your question is the 3-11 shift. For me personally because I am not a morning person AT ALL! Plus I don't have to worry about the "BIG DAWGS" all up in your eyes. I have worked all the shifts in nursing. Yeah 7-3 do fly by fairly quick, and 11-7 is a burden to the body because of the sleep schedule. I mean if you are single, no kids, don't like getting up early, and don't like doing fast paced work then second shift is right for you!
