Hello, I graduated from the Philippines and I moved here last year with my siblings. I was petitioned by my parents, so I am a permanent resident here. From what I know, they've stopped giving visas, since there's this retrogression. I am so lost now, I really need a job so I can help here around the house. This sucks.

I've been out of practice for almost 2 years. Yes you're right, you've got to have some connections so that you can land a job with all the hire freeze out there. All I can do now is look for a job. Thanks!

Hi, I am just so frustrated right now. Im a foreign grad and passed the nclex last month. Ive already applied and sent out so many resumes to hospitals and LTC facilities. Im here in Philly right now. I actually had an interview in a nursing home last week but as soon as she found out I dont have that much experience, she didnt ask me further. (i only had experience as a CNA in LTC before) I also am licensed in CA and endorsed here in PA. Does someone know of anyone hiring new nurses? i am very willing to relocate if thats the case. I am so losing hope. I actually even enrolled myself in a RN refresher course here in Villanova University just to prove them that I am doing anything to keep current with whats latest. Pls help!!

I was out this morning and I decided to just snail mail my application plus the paper wherein you can put your credit card info to cgfns. I did not continue my application online since there were errors. I did not pay it online and did not click on the submit button, so it says there that application incomplete. Did I do the right thing? i am so confused now.

Hello!! I can see your from the Philippines. Im a filipina too but I am based now here in Pennsylvania. Im a foreign grad too and just passed my nclex last week. :) I am really confused with this ces thing. i just mailed my application this morning coz there were errors when I made one online. Since your there in the Philippines maybe you can just send your application thru a courier, maybe fedex or something if you dont wanna do it online.

sorry for my confusing question. anyway i was filling out awhile ago my online application for CES but when its time to printing page there were a errors and it wont allow me to re-do it. so u suggest that i just print out an application and just mail it? will it take much longer if by snail mail?

Hello everyone! im just new here. Anyway, i just wanted to share to all of you my journey thru the nclex. I'm a foreign grad from the Philippines. I enrolled in a Kaplan course. I took my first nclex last May but failed with 75Q's. I really got sad but thank you to my family coz they've been so supportive and also to Jesus. So I picked myself up and studied again for 4 months. I did Saunders, Exam Cram, Mosby's Flash Cards and Rea Interactive flash cards. So just last Sept 10, i took nclex again and passed with 75Q's!!! i just saw my name yesterday on the CA website. I'm so happy and very thankful to Jesus for this blessing. I hope and pray to all those taking this test the 2nd time to not give up!You can do this. Always pray and study hard. God bless us all.
