  1. I am getting a certification in PMHNP. I am currently an FNP. The certification program is 18 months and 550 clinical hours.
  2. I reported mine then obtained a nurse attorney to go to the board with me. The board said "dismissed, RN license cleared and thank you for the disclosure". However, the advice of my attorney was to get a psychologist/substance abuse counselor to deem me unimpaired a week before I went before the board. So I went to a psychologist for abuse counseling ordered by the court in 2008 and again in 2012. The board was truly nice to me. However, my nurse attorney from Indiana Protection Association was the key to my success. Big suggestion "do not go in front of the board without an attorney".
  3. Calm down sugar. Read the board minutes from your BON. Some of us have DUI's and the BON understands that we all have made mistakes. They will ask you to make an appearance and explain what you did to correct your mistake. My advice is you go to a counselor who can deem you unimpaired. Go a week before you are to appear before the board. It worked for me. Indiana BON.
  4. It seems like alot of NP's take the AANP exam because of the ease of getting an appointment.
  5. rninwch can you email me because I cannot private message anyone yet. kimsherri00 at yahoo. com
  6. Any luck? I am graduating in May too. I cannot afford the high priced review seminars.
  7. Where did you buy them? I tried their store and you have to purchase them with an online course. I found someone on Ebay who was selling them for $150 and I was outbid. I can't afford the review classes (single mom and all).
  8. Can you tell me if you liked Barkley's? I have Fitzgerald but find there is so much information missing. In addition, Barkley & Associates do not sell the cd's individually without taking a course. Did you take a review course? I am trying to find someone who will sell them without going to the review class.
  9. I hope since your last post that you retook this test and passed.
  10. Thank you for the information. I am doing an online program and feel that I am not as smart/good as the on campus students. Clinicals have been rough trying to put what I have learned into practice. The pharmacology is the worse. Again, thank you so much and I will go in positive. I love positive affirmations.
  11. Did you have to buy the ANCC book?
  12. Did the Barkely review help you? Someone is selling the cd's and review book on Ebay. Should I buy it for $200
  13. Is anyone interested in selling any of your review materials?
  14. Ahh thank you. I am having anxiety already but I do believe in self talk. The Fitzgerald cd's are really good, however I did not know if it was enough. I have to pass....I am a single mom with 2 kids and I haven't worked this last semester because it is just to hard. I am running out of $$$.
  15. Is it worth the purchase? I am graduating in May and have the Fitzgerald cd
