  1. No It is all through the healthstreams site, we were given a one year subscription to Aorn and are able to view all the video and guidelines and such. We do also get contact hours at the end. So maybe because the course is not listed in that area on MYAORN is why I cant see the studyguide?
  2. I wonder if because I am doing it through my facilities healthstream, if that is why I cant access the study guide for the course?
  3. Sorry to post twice I wasn't sure if it posted or not and I did all that but thanks.
  4. Could you attach them here I cannot find them. I have looked everywhere or email me a copy please [email protected]

  12. Help I hate my job now.. we went 24 hour open, my patients get no rest, we have no control people walking in on procedures in process and they think they own the place.. my husband was in as a patient a few weeks ago and from the patient standpoint he hated it too. said peoples cells were ringing all night and they were coming and going he couldn't sleep at all... what ever person came up with this is nutz... all we think about is making the family happy what about the patient and the staff.. we deserve to have some piece. No other job is like this... patient satisfaction scores... choose our hospital people don't come here because they want to.. they have to.. and dont get me wrong we treat our patients top notch.. but I am sick of catering to the family when my patient in the next room is crashing.. I was in a code not to long ago and the family of my other patient actually came to the room and asked me if I could pull up their family in bed.. our hospital didnt change the procedures we just push the button and let in everyone.
  13. How about vbs.. we use them all the time.. they work just fine.
  14. I am going to sound so snobish.... but I can say that I personally hate it and think that it makes my job fifty times harder.. our ICU takes new grads. I spend three months with the initial training and then everytime their assignment is hard I end up doing theirs and mine for at least two years. I think most of them are well educated but not use to the stress. Fast thinking and of course keeping the MD's inline..lol
