  1. mommyx4, thanks also for your help! Whew! Now to get a job!:):):)
  2. I did it and it worked! Then, went to Ohio BON and I'm there! I have a license and everything! I really thought I blew that test! Thank you Angels, Thank you God! Yay! Good luck Sam 999 and everyone else going through this!
  3. Hi All! I am sure this has been asked a bajillion times but I am hoping someone will take pity on me and help me out. I tried to re-register and I am wondering exactly what will the screen tell you if you supposedly did pass? I don't even know if I am doing it correctly. I just took my NCLEX-PN today and I felt so totally prepared going in.....But....coming out, not so much. It was so much harder than I could have even imagined. Nothing prepared me for those questions. Comp. did stop at 85 so I feel that because I was so unsure of so many questions, must have failed. Hope someone can give me some direction. Thanks all! xxoo
  4. yay! So happy for you!
  5. Are there any good sites/books that can help me remember the drugs used most often? I am a nursing student and we have a pharm final coming up 2nd week of January and was hoping for some suggestions. Thanks so much for this site and all your help! Merry Christmas!
  6. Thank you so much! I really appreciate your advice!
  7. I have been to several rotations/clinicals in hospitals, Home health and Nursing homes and I loved them all except one......the ER. I didn't like it because the person that was to lead me around was not very friendly and she didn't show me anything etc. it was just a bad experience. Well, now I am going to precept there at the very same ER but with a different nurse. I just want to know from those of you what you would expect of me? it is a 48 hour stint and I am just hoping that I get off on the right foot. Thanks so much!
  8. I am precepting in the ER and am very nervous about it. Has anyone precepted there and what do I expect? Just so worried about it. Thanks!
  9. thanks to you both for responding. I understand so much better now.
  10. Another point of view.......If blood sugar was over 300 at hs, wouldn't he/she not be eating anyway since is it hs? I would have gone ahead and given it (if I didn't have a preceptor breathing down my neck) and then checked bs in 3-4 hrs to see if it was therapeutic. Since you had a preceptor, it is expected that they know more d/t experience etc. Sorry that you had to do that. You will be a great nurse because you knew it wasn't right. Good luck in future!
  11. I am hoping for some advice on this subject. I am due to graduate early Jan. and live 20 min from Indiana border (live in Ohio) I am debating on taking nclex in Ft. Wayne as it is closer that any of the Ohio nclex sites. I am hoping to get a dual state license to give me more employment choices and wondered if anyone knows if that is possible and If you have any advice for me. Are Indiana NCLEX different or same as Ohio? Thanks for any help, advice you can give me.
