Hi all, I'm gearing up to take boards again after failing 4 times. I am so stressed out and paniced/worried about failing for a 5th time. I have literally done at least 30,000 practice questions. I did Hurst in class, Hurst online, Kaplan in class, Kaplan online, saunders, lippincott, ati, mosbys, etc ... this time I even hired a private tutor. My tutor says that I have all the knowledge...it is just my stress and anxiety that gets the best of me while i am sitting in front of the computer. I am trying to think of the positives right now, but all I keep thinking of is the "what ifs". What if i don't pass again? Should I keep trying? Can I keep working as a secretary on the floor I should be nursing at? Can I handle it emotionally? So stressed out, Amy

I have officially failed the nclex rn 3x. I am about to start studying for my 4th time around. I have tried kaplan, decision tree was not helpful to me AT ALL! i was scoring 70-80 on all qbank and question trainer, even went into the local kaplan center to take extra practice tests scoring that high as well. i know bought the prentice hall book. im looking for any encouragment or just suggestions. pharmacology is what trips me up the most. please help

so PVT said my results were on hold for days, then i got thru to the cc page. im guessing thats a fail? my quick results arent in yet either.

i had the same thing!! hold message then cc page...i think it means a fail :-/

yup 3x...absolutely awful. def worst of all 3 times. hardesy questions ever

this morning at 10am...but this is my 3rd time taking it. the last time i took it within one hour i was able to repay...im so worried im on false hopes.

still says that my results are on hold this is so stressful. my job and basically everything on my life is on hold for this and now my results are too. i just keep praying and praying !!

i just got back from my third attempt. PVT gives me the on hold message. such a nervous wreck. i pray for you that you will have passed and i have confidence in you. i went into mine with such confidence...and now i am worried that i did not pass

its not a good thing tho i dont think . because i thought if u passed right away u would get the good pop up!

well...just got back from it. only had 75 ? which i think is an awful sign. at least 2/3 was meds or sata. which is what im the WORST at. tried PVT already but got the my results are on hold message...which i think means that i have failed...again for my third time. i have prayed, gotten tons of help, studied so hard...and i am just continuously praying that maybe i have passed!

I'm taking my test in exactly 7 days. this will be my 3rd time retesting on 12/16. i would love any last minute advice or tips that you have. i really struggle with remembering drugs, hypo/hyper, adds/cush...i get them all jumbled up under the pressure. help me and keep me in your prayers as well!

Thanks all for your support!! shockingly it does make me feel a lot better! I actually went into the kaplan office today and took a mock nclex and ended up with a 64% which is pretty good for kaplan stuff!! all my sections were above a 65 except one. so im on a positive thinking track for sure :-D keep the prayers coming tho :-)

It is now exactly 2 weeks until my test date. i have relaxed and trying to remain calm while studying. i have even let my self have some fun and go to the movies/out with friends after a hard day of studying. doing something relaxing before bed so that i can actually get some sleep is the key. does anyone have any advice on how to study meds? there are just so many and that is what seems to trip me up the most. all the relaxation advice has been a major help, the anxiety is seriously just taking over me. if this was a test i could take in the comfort of my own home i probably would have passed it already!

i honestly just feel soooo hopeless. my scores are getting worse. im not retaining information. my life is like on hold until i pass this test! if i dont pass it this time i dont even think that i can afford to take it again.... please any advice/tips/study guides also keep me in ur prayers

hey everyone, i really need some help from anyone. any advice from anyone really. most questioned on topics, etc. i retake for the third time on 12/16. i took the kaplan review course that ended on 11/15, i have done QT 1-4 and reviewed all my content. i am getting worse kaplan scores then i was before the last time i took the test. i basically cry everynight and can barely sleep at all. im a nervous wreck and seriously dont know what to do. i think this will be my last try taking the nclex and then i will have gone to a big 10 4 year out of state school for absolutely nothing. i have read the kaplan course book front to back and had done all the qt and qbank before my last attempt. first test ended at 75 questions, 2nd test ended at 210 questions. im just so down in the dumps depressed about it that even when i go to study i end up basically having a panic attack almost everytime.
