Do you regret getting your LPN-BSN or RN online
I didn't mean for it to sound like a bad thing. I was just wondering if it is the only option that i have. I'm reallywondering if anyone else has gone through ISU and how long did it take... what were the good/ bad aspects

Do you regret getting your LPN-BSN or RN online
I'm an LPN looking to continue my education online because I will be relocating from Illinois to Georgia during school. I have found that EC is not accepted as an endorsement there which is a bummer. Am I stuck with TCN/ISU?

LPN/LVN rate of pay in your area.
I'm a new grad from Chicago and I work in a LTC/psych facility (Day 1!) my starting pay is 25/hr w/some benefits but no diff ( I got reeeeeaaalllllly lucky tho). Ive been looking in my area and suburbs and the going pay seems to be 20-23 for new grads and 22-27 for experienced. I dunno what the agencies r going 4.... * disclaimer.. I'm not a salary tracker just a nurse so i could be wrong :)

LPN school: wasted a year of my life
Keep trying! I know I sound like everyone else but my story has a twist. I took my LPN classes 3 years before I took the test AND have never worked as a CNA or anything. In experience I was backwards! I live in Chicago where the Job market isn't bad but if you have no experience, its murder. I went to over 60 places in the city and suburbs and finally someone hired me! It took a month and a half and probably a tree full of resumes but it does pay off. Hope thats inspiration!

No one wants to give me a chance :(
I UNDERSTAND! I wake up everyday at the crack of dawn.. get all fancied up for people to tell me that they need someone who has experience..I'm overly frustrated and I was gonna post something very similar.. until I found yours! I hope you find comfort in knowing you are not alone... and when you find a job...tell me what you did o get it LOL! Keep your head up :)

New graduate LPNs: any luck finding jobs.
I got my license (LPN) a month ago and started searching for jobs right away.. my luck is not so great but i have been offered a part time (with very little hours) that I'm gonna take for the experience.. it is a mess finding a job if you don't have experience! I have been told by many employers that once a year is up they'd be glad to hire me...so thats the catch i guess.....
