At Atlantic the whole program is going to cost about $3000-4000 this includes your tuition, books, physical, immunizations, physical, background, teas, tabe...all of it. Great price for what it includes and considering their Nclex pass rates it is an awesome price. Plus the teachers are great!!!

Yes right on the shirts. As far as pants go I wouldn't get them there. You can get them at a uniform store and get some that actually fit. The ones they have are asexual, so not cool!!! You will ONLY need your Foundations book for first term. We didn't use any of our books in core. But bring them in case you don't have a nice teacher. I think my techer is going to term 2 with us, sorry!!! She is awesome so if you get MS. C you are so freakin lucky!!! You won't really need the stethoscope or really anything on the supplies list since most of core is online except the math and med terminology. Let me know if you have any more ?s!!!

I will only be there one or 2 days a week by then since we have clinicals coming up but I am still excited. Start studying your metric conversions. Good liuck getting into mornings. Not to be mean but they were almost filled last month. So I would go nights if you can. You only go 4 days and you don't have clinicals on the weekends. You also get more one on one time during clinicals if you go at night. You do switch to days during term 5 but it's only the last 9 weeks b4 you graduate. As far as the TEAS goes you can retest as soon as the next spot is available but you can only take the test 3 times a year. So I would make sure I'm ready b4 you take it again. Study what you failed or at least what you made less than a 50 on. You only have to have a 40 to pass but it's better to be safe than sorry. HTH

I wish that was all we had to bring. When I asked Lucinda she said we had to bring them ALL, EVERYTHING on our list on the first day. ok, so I got my uniforms for school on Monday but the pants don't fit since they are asexual. So I went and found some new ones that do fit. They are still white but they are cargo scrubs. Our paper just says white pants and the place they sent us too gave me cargo scrubs but as I said they don't fit. So what I'm wondering is if I get my own will there be an issue? They are both cargo but the new ones are more noticeably (sp) cargos, but since our paper just says white pants I figure I should be fine. I called the school today but couldn't get in touch with anyone that could help. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, --Sabrina

are you paying cash for your book? or paying for them yourself?

From what I understand I know some of the core consists of CPR, history of nursing, OSHA, CDC, HAZMAT stuff like that. Maybe injections too. Not sure on that one. I am starting on the 26 as well but at ATC your sister school. So let me know how it goes for you. Sorry I couldn't be of more help but I 'm not positive on all of it. I do know that most of the core is computer work. That's what our nursing director told me. The best thing to do would be to ask your director at your school next week. I went ahead and started working in my Memmler's just so I was a lil ahead but I think we are gonna start in the other book. The one thats like 3 or 4 inches thick. That one begins with the history of nursing so if you want to get head start I would start reading over that one. Good Luck. Hope this helps.

Mine start at 2 pm but from what i understand they will all start on time but will probably end early for the first few weeks. Lucinda said it would be up to the individual teachers. So maybe you will get out early. It doesn't matter since I will be there at 12 anyways, to have lunch with my boyfriend (he works there). So let me knnow if you want to meet up, even 15 minutes will be better than nothing to kinda know what to expect.
