  1. Can we use calculators on the dosage tests?
  2. I got my skills kit yesterday, so hopefully they should have one for you :) I already had a lab coat, so I bought an extra patch for it, but can anyone tell me who ordered it from Meridy's where the patch is on it. I know on the uniform shirts its on the sleeve, but I just want to make sure I don't sew anything in at the wrong place. Thanks!
  3. Thanks Future! let's hope they get a big shipment, so we all can get them! i guess i will be calling tomorrow.
  4. I've been out of town, so I haven't been able to call, but has anyone heard if the skills kit have all the parts to it now?
  5. hey everyone! I called about the skills test this morning and she said they are still missing the one part, so call on wednesday to see if it is in.
  6. The polo shirt was $14.75.
  7. Thank you so much for all the info! I had no idea about a test on the first day =/
  8. Yep, if it was at the Southside UPS store around 10:30 :) It was nice actually seeing someone. See you at orientation.
  9. This morning even though I called to accept my spot, they called because she said she never got my message of accepting my seat and they were making sure whether I wanted it or not. So if you were accepted and you haven't gotten a letter yet, they will at least call you. :) I hope you hear something soon, I know it stinks not knowing.
  10. Hi! I got my background check results. Did you get something about your fingerprints back? I did the fingerprinting today but all i have is that page you print out to bring to the store to get it done. -Christina
  11. Thanks Theresa that's what I was thinking, too late now, I've already got them. :)
  12. Has anyone had their photo taken yet that we need to turn in with everything? I went and got the passport photo at Wal-greens and they used a digital camera, and on the list of specifications it says no digital cameras. So I called around, and apparently everyone uses digital cameras for the photos? Just wondering what everyone else was doing? -Christina
  13. Thank you stephanie! I was so confused about titers, so I'm glad you broke it down like that. The ladies I talked to were so confusing. I am definitely going to get my titers done on Monday.
  14. I talked with two different staff members in the Nursing office, and she just kept saying to wait until after the 20th for both the titers and most of the vaccines, with the exception of the flu and if you've already had the tetorifice within the past 10 years. They didn't specify on the paper, but according to the staff that I talked to, they just said wait until the 20th, which I would recommend just in case. If that is confusing, call or go up to the north campus because I don't want anyone to have problems. :)
  15. I went and got my drug test today, and you can get flu shots there, thats what I did while I was getting the drug test done also. The flu shot was $25. I called and you can do parts A,B,C for the background/fingerprinting/drugtest at any time before the deadline. I also talked to the people in the Nursing office and make sure you don't get any of the vaccines before Nov.20 (she stressed to me about that) except for the flu shot, and the tetorifice within the last 10 years. Hope that helps. By the way, my name is Christina.
  16. Congrats to everyone, I got in as well! See you all in December.
  17. Hey everybody! I applied for spring term also... trying to be patient in waiting :anbd: . I applied for fall, didn't get in, so I retook the NAT did really well and now I applied with 202.84 points. Crossing my fingers, hoping it is enough this time. The cutoff just keeps getting higher. I'm doing my best not to stalk the mailman as well, but its just so hard not to!
  18. To everyone who has not received a letter yet, i still have not either, but I went to the Nursing office at the north campus yesterday and asked them about it. Everyone should receive a letter by the end of the week (all of the letters have been mailed by now) and with concerns about confirming your spot, I was told that the FCCJ nursing office will be calling you if you have not confirmed your spot and you have been accepted to the program. i'm pretty sure they understand that the mail is not always reliable and aren't just going to hand your spot off tomorrow. So I hope this helps with the stress, even a little.
  19. i haven't gotten my letter either
