I would consider prosure, it's a reletively new drink with 'fish oil' (not the real stuff!). All the patients i know who use the drink are gaining weight (even with progessive desease).
  2. I don't think so! There is definitely a problem here! A well known study over here in Holland showed that the carierre opportunities for men in nursing were fare higher. This was compared with policewomen who have difficulties to make carriere in the police jobs. (the study was called, crownprinces and cinderella's ans is not translated, i am sorry)
  3. I am an cns in oncology and our chain of command is a weird one: we are temporarely (2 years already) under command of ward manager, and this mix of being 'under command' and having the manager as a client isn't recommended. Get yourself as high to the hospital management as you can get. You need to be independent from the ward to do your work as an cns properly. (sorry, english is not my native language)
