  1. Congrats to everyone who has gotten their letters!! I am a 4th term student graduating next month. Your fun is getting ready to begin. Last term FNSA was as the orientation for the newcomers and was selling Uniforms very cheap. In case your running low on funds!! Don't let it overwhelm you as it can be. I have made it and worked a fulltime job and I have a kid through the entire program!!!! Just take it one step at a time. Its gonna be a wild and crazy ride, but well worth it!! Again congrats!
  2. yes, there is always hope. Thats just what I think may be going on. I know a couple people that were second string so to say that made it in. it happens every term I think ). they are doing just fine in the program now. I think our cut off was around 186ish. We started with like 168 students now in third term we are down to 130 something. Wait for uniforms and see what is available at orientation on the 17th. As far as a BP cuff I would wait. I only used mine like twice in Health Assessment and haven't used it since. At clinicals you'll use the hospitals dinamap. I would go for a mid price stethoscope, you will be getting your use of it in clinicals.
  3. I don't think any more letters will go out until after the deadline to accept. I think they are holding on to the denials and as a seat opens up they will select the next in line. Im sure a few students will decline their seat as they did in my term. Some got into UNF or SJRCC. Also after orientation there will probably be a few more empty spots, not everyone will come. I beleive this term is accepting more than ever before. I believe its like a total of 190 seats avaliable. thats just my thoughts on it. )
  4. thanks misswhitney for the email. I cant figure out how to send an email on this site (. How is that individual with care plans? So far I've gotten real lucky and haven't had anyone over the top with care plans, they've been pretty laid back
  5. Hey, I would have to agree with misswhitney, AD1 is probably the most diffiult. Semester 1 is pretty hard too, but only because of the time commitment. You must have some good time management skills to juggle all the classess and tests for term 1. I did what misswhitney just advised. I took peds the first half of this semester and I'm now in OB and loving it!! I workr 40 hours a week. so yes it can be done and I also have a kid to tend to. Maybe today will be your lucky day, and the big envelope will come miss whitney, can you suggest any good clinical or lecture instructor for AD2? How many clinical hours is role transformation?
  6. Hello all. I am a 3rd term nursing student. I started last fall and remember how frusterating it was waiting for the mail. I remember calling and ****** said that letters had not went out then the next day I got the big envelope!! So there is still hope for this week )The waiting is insane but once you get it, then its waiting again until orientation. I remember being sooooo excited!!! Our fourth and might I add last term schedules just came out yesterday, so hopefully you all will hear something soon
