Hello, I am currently 6 months preggars and due during finals. I know it is going to be a challenge but I have found the students and teachers are very very helpful at my school. This is my 2nd so I am hoping to have her then return 3 days later. I have a very supportive family and have made all the arrangements for my 3yr old and baby. I think it takes a LOT of organizing but I hope to make it. I start on Monday :) And yes if things dont go as planned the teachers are aware and we have discussed what I will do. Hello, I will be starting with you. I have the books so can get you the list. Also the south extension lot..i think I will be paying $66 a month. Then i think i can walk or just take the shuttle for free from there. About health assessment i am sure we will find out more tomorrow but I think lecture is 8-10 then lab will be one of the other selections, not sure how its picked.

This is such a tough decision...I feel very motivated and deeply feel like I will be able to do this. I spoke with my OB and she said go for it so I asked her what my restrictions were and she said the main thing is lifting. Then she said of course the commone sense stuff like stay away from airborne. I totally get what everyone is saying and really appreciate it. I am now just waiting to see what my advisor says. If she says the faculty will work with me then I will probably go for it. I have been home from work for a month now and feel so blah BUT when I was working i felt so much better because I was up constantly moving and wasnt getting tired...until I stopped moving for a bit lol. Also if I do defer then what happens with all he books I just bought? I have already started studying as well so I would hate to suddenly stop because im not going. One last thing is I am not sure how deferrment works. If I have to be put on a list and "compete" for the BSN again then I will lose because my GPA just dropped even lower so I dont think i would get accepted again. I thank all of you so much, the insight has been really helpful in having me look at the whole picture on both sides. I love this site! :)

Thank you all for responding. I am trying to get ahold of my advisor to also speak with her. I have heard both sides from many people. This is my second child and I completely understand that you never know what will happen. I do have a great family support system and wont be working. My 3 year old can easily walk to his grandmas (we are about 10 feet away lol) so i can study or nap or relax. As far as the pregnancy I have no clue. My first was so easy and ha no problems at all. With this one I just seem to be getting bigger a heck of alot faster. I also know I work really well under pressure and stress...I want to do this so bad right now but in the end would hate if I got booted or something in the last week of school KWIM

Just wanted to say I am there with you...I have a 2 year old and this baby is due Dec 8th..2 days before last class day. My husband is also working like crazy so the housework and kid duties are mainly mine right now. We did discuss organizing and just today put up a calendar on the fridge along with a to do list. He is able to look and see what all is going on..which he never did before lol. Sorry not much advice, just trying to figure this out as well :) I think it will take a few weeks but you will eventually get in a routine

Hey guys, I have read many post about pregnancy and nursing school and they have been helpful. But lately I have been hearing the same question often and that is "have you thought about deferring till the Spring" I completely get why people are asking me this but I feel like maybe I am making a mistake by attempting this semester. I feel like I can do this. I may not get noticed in clinicals because I am not going to be able to do as much as the others, which i wonder if that will hurt me but I do plan on asking to watch or assist in many procedures and do my best in lecture classes. I am due Dec 8th and the last day of class is the 10th...then finals are the 13th. What do you think? Lay it on me good or bad :)

WOW so I applied to Bacc 2 and yesterday saw "conditional acceptance" and had no idea what that meant so I thought I was waitlisted... but I got an email today saying I was in for the Fall!!!!!! Yay I really thought I had no chance!!! So here I am, nice to meet all of you and can i join you guys on Facebook :)

Hello all!! I just checked my link and it says "conditional acceptance, conditions of acceptance will be mailed" and all my holds are listed...what does this mean?????? Also when I clicked on Summer nothing showed up like normal, so i clicked on Fall and that is when I saw the conditional acceptance...does this mean I am in for Fall? Either way I can not believe it!!!! :)

Wow it has been pretty quiet around here. I still have not heard anything so I am thinking I did not get in. That is ok though, maybe i will get in for the Fall if I bring up my GPA with this semesters courses. (wait a sec, just thought of this...they are already doing Fall arent they...so I wont even have a chance to bring up my GPA???) So happy for you all :)

Man so i made an F last semester in general chemistry because my lab materials were lost in the mail, well I couldnt have an F on my transcript (even though it already had an effect on my GPA ...) So i retook it this semester and am still making a bad grade. But yet I am making an A in microbiology...grr so frustraiting! Anyhoo on this vent...if I drop, that will not mess with my GPA will it? I already applied to UTH and they took my intro to chemistry (A) so that is great but i worry because I can not lower my GPA anymore! SO should I drop it or keep trying for a C
