  1. I attended a local community college here in San Antonio, Texas. I took the exam 26 January, 2012. I am unable to talk about specifics; but I found it easy, straight forwards and fair. I passed at 85 questions, got the good "pop-up" and called my board of nursing today to confirm. You can ease your tensions by applying yourself in school, reading, studying hilighting in your books. Most defenitely you will need to know lab values. I took a month off after I graduated and studied 4-6 hours a day for three weeks after I received my ATT. This studying was not to learn more, but to keep the information I had learned in school fresh. Anything I can help you with: [email protected]
  2. LVN's may be slightly different; but for RN Generic Track students like myself, I do not have one positive word to say about the SAC nursing program. I don't know about any "hints" either. It is what you make of it, but If I were to do it all over again, I would not have enrolled at SAC. You can send me a pm and I will forward what I have on notes that I have for "commons" and "complex." "Caveat Emptor."
  3. I am 44 with 3 semesters to go. Typically I am not the oldest but "among" one of them. Age is not really a big deal to me anyhow.

My ex-wife has ADN and has been working as a nurse for 3 years; nights and weekends only she is at thirty one dollars and hours, not that I see any of it, she just keeps me informed of her pay to keep me motivated while I am in nursing school.
  5. Howdy Ray, This is Raymond. I start the ADN program in the fall at San Antonio College here in San Antonio. Hope you guys do well in the upcoming semesters. Myself included. :)
