  1. Im from Illinois..I took my NCLEX exam thursday july 16, 2009 at 8 am. I had 240 questions.. I finished at 1230. i got home to do the pearsonvue trick at 2pm. and it would not let me register..it said contact ur board of nursing or something like that. i tried several times on thursday and friday. on saturday morning 7-18-09 i went to pearsonvue website to get my quick results. I paid $7.95 and i PASSED. so the trick worked for me.
  2. I failed out of an ADN program once. I had to have an 80% or above by midterm and i had a 79%. I felt bad. so the next school i went to i learned different study habits. I would read the material, make out lines of the chapter. know s/s of diseases. learn the diets to the disorders. get a nclex review book. (saunders is good). review the disorders you are learning in class in saunders. ask the teachers if u don't understand. get a study group going..not to many people. go to after school tutoring if available. make time to study (early morning, late nights) eat well, get plenty of rest. You will do fine.
  3. I Just took my NCLEX this week. I have not got my results yet, But i feel confident. A lot of priority questions, infection control. I had 3 or 4 math questions. good luck to all. I studied saunders review book. did not take a review class.
