  1. One thing you can try to see if you are ready for traveling is some per diem agency shifts. There you get thrown in with only about 15-30 minutes of orientation. Basically, there is the bathroom, put your lunch there, supplies are over there. If you feel comfortable doing that, you might be ready for traveling. If not, work another year or two where you are until you feel comfortable.
  2. My husband is planning to do "the house stuff" (cooking, laundry, etc.), sightseeing, watching the movies I have saved on our computer, taking care of me and our 2 cats.
  3. I am talking with NovaPro now about a possible assignment, and they have been very pleasant and thorough so far.
  4. From what I have read, Intelistaff has now gone Chapter 11. I would not consider starting a new contract with them at this time. If you are on a contract already, i wish you good luck!
  5. My PPD turned positive 28 years ago and my chest x-ray was negative. At that time the recommendation was to take the INH for a year if you were under 35. I took it for 10 months, now the recommendation is for 6 months. Never had any problems from the INH, never took any special vitamins. An employer will not look badly at the fact that you are positive, as so many of us are, especially if you have taken (or are taking) the INH. They just ask you to take an X-ray at the time you are hired, then just ask you to fill out a paper once a year saying that you have no symptoms of TB. I would suggest you talk to the people at your local Health Department about whether to take the INH or not. Good luck!
