  1. Did you end up getting the job at the Dermatology clinic? I'm starting a job soon in dermatology.
  2. From my experience when I started doing the qbank I was getting lower scores like you then my scores got a lot better. I think the qbank and the questions trainers are very similar. It looks like you're doing very well. I studied for 5 weeks, finished all question trainers and qbank. I also did questions from Saunders and I was avg 65-70, nothing higher than that. I took the Kaplan readiness 1 week before testing and got a 63%. I'm sure you are ready :)
  3. I actually used Saunders for content and occasionally the Kaplan book. I think Saunders is better for content. I didn't used the online videos ( takes too much time) What worked best for me was to review all questions and for incorrect ones I looked up the content that was involved. Hopefully this helps a little :)
  4. I used Kaplan and I think the NCLEX questions are very semilar to Kaplan. I took the test last week and passed with 75 questions. I got a lot of SATA (21), Meds, and prioritizing I also got 2 drag and drop in order. Make sure you know patient safety.
  5. -morenoe Hey Kaplan is a prep course and it runs anywhere from $379-500. My class got a group special for $379 I chose the online course because it just worked better for my schedule. Go to kaptest.com and you should find helpful information about their course. Good Luck :)
  6. Hey, Kaplan says aim for 60% on qt6&7. I took the boards last Thursday and passed with 75 questions! I probably got about 21 SATA, Meds and prioritizing. You will do great Kaplan did help a lot. The test was vey seminar to Kaplan questions. Good luck :)
  7. Hi! I took the NCLEX-RN on 4/14/12 and Passed with 75 questions! I had 21 SATA few meds and prioritization. It took me about 2 hours to finish. I really thought I failed I found the SATA very difficult and really thought I didn't pass. An hour later after taking the exam I tried the PVT and got the good "pop-up". On Saturday I paid pearsonvue for quick results and found out I did pass!!! :) This is how I studied. I also used Kaplan on demand. Your scores are very good you're ready to take the exam based on your scores! These are my scores they are kinda low: Diagnostic :57% QT1 44, Qt2: 51 Qt3: 46 Qt4: 55 Qt5: 55 Qt6: 57 Qt 58. Readiness: 63% I finished 100% Qbank with 60% avg. I read every rationale for every question and If it was content I wasn't too familiar with I used my Saunders book and went over it. I practice question everyday anywhere from 50-150 per day. I also did question from Saunders and used a book by Lacherity (delegation, prioritizing ect) The total number of questions 3,300! I really think you are ready and you will pass the test! :)
