  1. Hi Perryls. I'm starting this coming Jan 2012, too! I'll be relocating all the way from San Diego. How did you figure out what classes you'll be taking in Jan? Have you already met with a counselor? Looking fwd to meeting our classmates/making some new friends once I move out there. :)
  2. Hi everyone! I know I'm randomly jumping in on your thread, but I've been reading some of your posts and wanted to ask a few questions to see if any of you can help me out! :) My name is Jenn & I recently applied to MTC's nursing program in hopes of starting this fall. I have a BA from San Diego State University (which is where I currently live now) and I've taken all of my prereq's (ie. micro, anatomy, physio, psychology, etc) out here at different community colleges. Does anyone know if they normally accept most prereq classes that were taken at other institutions or are they very strict about this? And do any of you know how realistic it is for me to start this fall, or even in Jan 2012 (when I applied, the website said they are currently accepting apps for Jan 2013)? My stepmom just finished MTC's nursing program last year and she said that she was bumped up an entire year on the waitlist. I'm hoping I'll be just as lucky! I appreciate any tips/advice that you guys can give! Thanks in advance. :)
  3. Awesome! Thank you sooo much, on eagles wings. :) I appreciate it!
  4. Thank you, Marah1984! Man, I sure hope I dont have to retake it. I've been done with my prereq's for about a yr now so all of the bio/chem won't be as fresh for me. I spoke with someone at medical campus about how I took the TEAS in San Diego (which is where I live) and they said they might be able to make an exception, allowing my score to transfer over instead of making me fly all the way out there just to take the TEAS...but she said nothing about it needing to be the TEAS V. Every time I call, I have such a hard time getting through to someone who is actually able to answer my questions - anyone have any tips/advice on how I can get this answered asap? Especially if I end up having to retake it, seeing as how we're only a few weeks away from the deadline. :/
  5. Hi everyone! I'm also applying to MDC for fall 2011 (the accelerated option). I took the TEAS last year though - does anyone know if it's absolutely necessary to retake it again (as I've noticed most of you have taken the TEAS V)? I'm just wondering how strict they are about this... If anyone knows about this, I'd appreciate your feedback! :) Thanks and good luck to all of you!!!
  6. I'm also thinking of applying for this program to start in Spring 2010. I only have a few prerequisites left, which I plan on finishing up this fall. :) Can anyone tell me about the Chem prereq's Azusa requires? Is it both General Chem & the lab, along with Organic Chem & the lab? Or just one of those? Thanks in advance. :)
