I researched a lot before I subscribed to TCN and even after I signed I still had doubts. But I've checked the DANTES and EC websites and you still have to pay for their study guides anyway. The books are extra. I'm satisfied that there's only one company that takes care of everything for me, even locking the rates at the time I signed. There's also tutoring available. You would still have to go through TCN to complete the 4 CSM's required for ISU. I've told everyone who asked me about working with TCN that they definitely DO NOT have to use TCN to complete GE requirements, if they can wait and do it at a CC in a traditional semester setting. I personally chose TCN because I can complete a course as fast as I can. I'm going by a very strict deadline :zzzzz Goodluck to future ISU students! :typing

Indiana State University BSN Thread for Current Students
I am trying to apply for Spring 2010. I'm from California. I purchased the CSM's through TCN. I still have to test out of Intro to Computing. I know I've read the procedure, but I may be too overwhelmed since the deadline is coming. I have to submit ALL the immunization records, background check, and the works before Nov. 1st right? Can I take the TEAS now? When do I purchase the ATI's? I'm confused about setting up a proctor for taking what tests... I've been set back 3 weeks by the BVNPT because of my name change so I'm taking care of getting my license. AArrggh I have less than 2 months to figure this out. Can you guys help me? I'm really relieved to find fellow future (hopefully for me) ISU students. Thank you!

The CA Board of Nursing approves this program: Sonoma State University partnered with Indiana State University. Check the BRN website. http://www.rn.ca.gov/schools/onlineprograms.shtml I just went ahead and purchased the CSM's through TCN. Because if you fail, you have to prove to ISU Nursing Dept. that you have purchased these through TCN. http://www.indstate.edu/nursing/pdfs/lpn-bs-docs/nursing-challenge-exam-instructions.pdf

Pearsonvue Trick Is this TRUE? Does it work every time?
I took NCLEX-PN on Saturday, June 20th and stopped at 85. I felt like I didnt know anything and I know for sure that I missed 5 items. I was so restless all weekend. So I went online to find forums like this because I know I'm not the only one who felt this way after the test. I am so sure that I failed. Then I stumbled upon this "trick". I tried it that same day and it didnt let me register again. I tried it today and it didnt let me register again. I know this is just like an urban legend, but it has helped keep me sane at least for a few hours at a time. I feel bad harassing my family and friends already. I wont find out til next july because I live in California. This is driving me insane!!! I did really well in my class and I feel like I would let a lot of people down if I fail. I just talked to my friend who's scheduled to sit for the boards this Wednesday and I feel bad cus I think I made her feel more nervous. I didnt mean to. I told her the test is different for everyone and that she has prepared herself enough. But I really feel like I failed! And she said, if I feel like I failed, then how about everyone else in our class? AHHH. So I'll post again when I get my official results.
