  1. I also have been struggling with Biology this summer. I just found out I will probably have a B! This is the hardest class this old lady has taken in 20 something years. I am sooooo ready for A&P I! Congratulations:chuckle
  2. Thanks! I will certainly get these. I am rusty in this and need all the help I can get.
  3. I want to order Anatomy and Physiology for Dummies. Is it better to order the book, workbook, or both?
  4. I just cannot win. I just found out Dr. Young will only be teaching A&PII this fall. I guess I will have to go to Childersburg and take Mr/Mrs. Doss. Does anyone know about this teacher?
  5. Thanks for the info. I think I will take my chances with Dr. Young. Can you tell me what you made in his class? Mrs. Perkins is just too hard. I study like crazy and am perfectly willing to do that for a good grade, but her questions on the test are just really worded to mess you up. I found out Mrs. Perkins taught at a Private school that is really hard to get into, Altamont, I think. It has all the extremely smart kids and I went to Public School! LOL!
  6. Hey! I am excited about this post! Currently taking: Algebra Bio 103 Fall: A&P 1 Intermediate Algebra Spring: A&P II Micro Summer: Psych Humanities Speech I have already taken my English in the past. I will be applying Spring 2010 for Fall 2010.
  7. I have done everything. Her tests are not what she lectures on and sometimes she will tell us that something will not be on the test and it is. Hard is okay, but impossible to know what will be on the test is a whole other thing. I always go in thinking I have studied all I can and I know the info, but leave feeling very discouraged. I only have an C in there now and I am an A student. I am older at 44, so very conscientous about studying and really hard on myself. I am going to talk with her about her expectations and hopefully I can take her A&P I class with confidence as it is better for me, as far as schedule and being closer to home. I live close to Pell City in Riverside.
  8. Thanks for the information. I will definitely think about it. I like how Mrs. Perkins teaches, but her tests are like a foreign language. I heard Mr. Young even has open book testing. I am not sure about this as I really want to learn and not just get an A.
  9. I am taking my prerequisites this summer and have Mrs. Perkins for Bio 103 at CACC in Talladega. She is really hard! I have heard good things about Ms. Waites, but has anyone taken Mr. Young in Talladega. If so, how are his classes?
