Where are you going for your RN?

I was just wondering if anyone is in this program at this time, I am thinking about going back to get my RN but I work 12 hours night shifts, so I was wondering if you actually have to go in for class and clinicals? Thanks in advance.

I recently applied for a 6p to 6a job and I got a job offer but I am not sure it I should really take it since I enjoy my job I am at now I work 3-11 even though i dont get the best pay I am comfortable there and from what I heard about the other job I would have about 34 res to do a hs med pass on and then I would have 60 res to take care of from 10:30pm to 6am and 20 of them are in a locked unit that just seems like way too many for me, I would be the only nurse on the floor with 3 aides and there would be a RN and a LPN upstairs on the second floor, I feel like that would just be setting me up for not being able to get everything done. I am not sure what to do should I just stay at the old job or try the new one?

Okay so I have another question for current or past students what is the Prep you do when you have learning lab? and also what is the access test you have to do towards the end of second quarter?

I am about to start my second quarter in Day classes and I was wanting to if anyone could tell me what skills you do for your CPE's in second quarter I was just wanting to know so I can start going over things during break Thanks

Can anyone tell me if you use the Fundamentals of Nursing books in any other quarter than first?

I want to know if anyone who is already through first quarter could tell me about the drug cards we have to have for our Lab class and what are they used for during our CPE's what information will we need to have off them?

I was just wanting to know if anyone who is in 2nd quarter or further along could tell my what type of places you go to for clinicals in 2nd quarter?

We have to wear all white scrub top with our school logo in blue and some blue piping on them and then white pants and for lab we have to wear ceil blue scrubs with the school logo

I was wanting to know if anyone who is a attending Galen right now could let me what they are talking about when they say student mailboxes They said that is where they would put our CPR card but I am not sure what they are talking about.

Just wondering if anyone on here is going to be starting day classes on the 25th?

Can anyone who is already attending Galen tell me about the health insurance you are supposed to have for clinicals it said you had to have it or pay for the group coverages so does Galen offer insurance and how much does that cost?

I had one MMR in 1991 and then my second one done teh other day and I called the registar and she said that is fine just as long as you had two and I told her it was in 1991 and she said that was okay

Great I done got my physical done and I was worried it was going to cost me a couple of hundred to get the shots Thanks so much I was getting really worried about having to spend so much so close to christmas and stuff this is really going ot help me out

Thanks I will be calling over there one day next week to get that taken care of I is going to save me alot of money Do they do the MMR I also need to get one dose of that too and one more TB skin test.

wow that is not bad do you have to be a resident of Indiana I wonder if they are that cheap in KY

Did anyone get the varicella vaccines I had the titer done only to find out I had no immunity even though I had the chickenpox really bad as a child but I am trying to find the cheapest place to have the shots done.

I took a CNA training course in May well now i go to take my state exam on the 6th and I am wanting to know how many wash clothes you are supposed to use during a female peri care a friend of mine took the class and she told me her intructor said one thing and my teacher said one too and I am not sure which one was right any help would be helpful Thanks

I got a letter I the mail today saying that i got into the January class and they sent me all my medical stuff I have to get done I am so excited is anyone one here going in January?

amberlandram1 I still have not recieved a letter of any but I am glad that they do send something out to let you know at least becuase I was worried that I would be kept waiting I will let you know if I get accepted or not if not maybe we'll both get int to January
