Failed NCLEX-RN
I have faith in you. It is a VERY hard test and it all depends on the questions you are asked. Others might of had easier questions or got lucky on their answers!! You got to have faith in yourself and know you can do this. Others, including myself, are in the same boat you are!! Don't feel alone!! I failed my first time and I felt like quitting cuz I was the only one in my class to fail so far. Took it again and did worse and failed again!!! Everything happens for a reason and passing NCLEX the next time around will be such a HUGE accomplishment and be way awarding!! I take mine the third time on July 8th!! Good luck to you!!

Took the NCLEX, it was horrible!
CONGRATS for passing!!! I think it's funny how this whole NCLEX works!!! I have taken the NCLEX twice now. The first time I felt horrible like you did and had 188 and failed. The second time I felt great and had 77 and failed again. I retake the 8th of July... I have felt both great and horrible after the test and have failed both times!! lol so I'm not sure how this time is going to go! Good luck to all!!

Oh my gosh!! I had tons of laparoscopy questions that dealt with shoulder pain. I had no clue why someone would have shoulder pain until I asked my mom who is a OR nurse...glad you mention it. THANKS TO ALL FOR THIS INFORMATION!! Helps a lot!

My last 2 NCLEX questions were identical & then it shut off at 75...
I also ended my last question with a SATA. Question 78. I was 100% sure I got it right too. Thought I passed the exam for sure because I got 2 calculations, 7 SATA, and one drag and drop. Unfortunately failed tho. Good luck!

Taking NCLEX-RN for the 3rd time!!! Need encouragement and advice!
Hi All. I just graduated in May 2009 and I have taken the NCLEX-RN twice already because our school was allowed to take the exam prior to graduation. We used ATI as our study tool and I did really good with that. When I sat for the test in March I got very nervous and it was a lot different than I expected. I thought it was harder than ATI. I ended up failing after 188 questions. Then I decided to take the exam again in May, one week before graduation. I didn't really study too much and I felt calm and relaxed during the exam. I had 78 questions and once the test was over I felt great and "knew" I passed for sure. Unfortunately that wasn't the case. Once again my heart was crushed when I read "fail" on the quick results page. Now, I am applying and interviewing for jobs and I have set a date to take this PASSABLE test!! I will be taking NCLEX-RN for the third time on July 8. I have been studying my butt off, using ATI and some Saunders and Kaplan books. I do about 50 questions a day, reading the rationales. I also am focusing on my weak areas according to my previous results. My worry is that I must of really stunk it up the second time with 78 questions and how can I pass when I had that low of a score!?!? Does anyone have any other study tips and suggestions or words of encouragement. That would be great!!! Thanks again and good luck to all who are taking the exam soon!! :nuke:

failed twice now!!! help!
Hi everyone. I took NCLEX RN in March and got 188 questions and failed. I felt like I didn't know anything!! It was a horrible feeling to see the word "fail." But after a week I put it behind me. I studied everyday for two hours, focusing on the areas I needed to improve on. I just took the test on Tuesday. I went in with a lot of confidence and relaxation. The questions seemed too easy and I got like 5 SATAs. The computer shut off at 77. I felt thrilled after the test thinking I knew I passed. Today I checked the quick results and saw the word "fail" once again.... I feel so depressed and confused!! Any words of wisdom?
