Spira Question
before i invest in spira shoes, can some of you help with my questions please? i have plantar fasciitis ... both heels... really bad this week in one heel. ??? taking prednisone pills helps along with specific a.m. & p.m. stretching. i too can't be on my feet and longs very long it seems. do you think the spira shoe would help this? also, are stna's and lpn's and rn's (in ohio--at ohio hospitals etc.), really allowed to wear this style of shoe? they look like a tennis shoe. thanks.

Student Nurses over 35 and Second Career????
Hello All over 35ers! So happy to see that I am not the only one. However, I am 51 !!! A young 51....had my last child at 39 ... yes she is 12 now !!! Single mom and just got laid off from my great paying IT job. I too felt stuck and unhappy and then bam ... laid off. Starting over. My questions are: 1) I want to take a local 2 week CNA or STNA course. They want $500 and they say I will be certified after I take the state exam. Does this sound legit to you? 2) What is an EMT? Thanks.

STNA Training
I am considering taking a 2 week STNA course. The name of the company is Absolute Health Services in Columbus, Ohio. There is also a CNA course offered at Alia Healthcare in Dublin, Ohio. Can someone ease my apprehension? Are these companies reputable? They both want about $500 for 2 weeks of training and another $100 to take a state exam? Whats the difference between STNA and CNA? I am 51 years old as well. Got laid off and am desiring to get into the healthcare field.
