About to start the program next week. Any tips??

well, they accepted grades from FIU and I talked to the people from bc nursing office and they did not say anything about it

i took all my classes @ broward community colllege (now bc)

yea MW will be best though b/c i will have more time. Tell me when you want to meet so i'll stay after math class. Have you been calling the school lately?

i go to both campuses, UP and BBC, i am @ BBC everyday MWF 11-1:00 and TuesThur 11-12:15

Well, we will know if we got into famu in december. Someone I know who is on the program now and was in since January did not know she was accepted until decmber 24, 2008. So I'm guessing I have to wait around that time also which sucks for the wait ;(

i had so many test this week that i did not even get a chance to call but i know its there b/c i got a a tracking receipt BUT I WILL CALL TOMORROW

I just spoke with someone who got into the program January and she told me she not find out until Dec. 24th that she was in the program. Also, she did not mention an interview unless its brand new. Have you turned in your application yet? b/c i have to wait until my transcript from FIU come in and finish revising my essay before i send it in which maybe next week tuesday or wedensday

Sorry I took so long to respond to you but my cousin said the oasis is good but a just a LITTLE bit farther away from the school but still in distance

alright. I am going to finish my college algebra homework. I will be on tomorrow and tell me what you think of the apartments and looking @ the rating comments also but my cousin speaks highly of them because she has been there with friends

Sorry If I was to open but you have to know your surroundings b/c it's a whole different world

She stayed @ Studio Green but is currently @ B.C for just the fall of 09 semester (as a transient student) but she will be going back in spring 10 and hopefully I go too. Since she has been up there since fall 07, I am going by what she knows b/c she has the inside scoop on all of the apartments from hearing/seeing them by friends. She recommends 3 places that are really nice, where you feel comfortable and secure they are The Beach Club, West 10, and Board Walk. These apartments are not in the projects like the other apartments you may look up b/c they make it seem it's in a nice area when it is not and alot of breakins occur and your roommate spit in your food while it is in the refridgerator. Not saying that can happen anywhere else, but this is your living space NOT HOME

I was thinking about staying off campus @ this apartment place that takes financial aid (its many apartments like this in Tally, where u won't have to worry about if the other person did not pay rent b/c it does not affect you, its called individual lease and u are able to pay through financial aid). I'm going to stay with my cousin (who is a pharm major) in a three bedroom so yea if you are interested and I get in

i sent it in with my high school transcripts, thats how they received it and on the famu application i said yes saying i have 2 yrs of forign language

I applied to FAMU for fall but was not able to take college algebra after i applied so my application was denied because of college algebra and my medical form was incomplete. So this time i called them while i was at the doctor's office to make i had everything i needed but i don't remember them asking did i have my x-ray checked unless i had TB, which i don't. Since I applied for fall of 2009 they still have my file from before so they already have my recommendation letters so all i have to send in is the application, transcripts, essay (im going to redo it), and my new medical form. I pray i get in, even though, we will not find out until 2 weeks before the program starts but i believe its all going to work out. Also, i applied to BC nursing program and fro Mcfatter's LPN program

We needed to get an x-ray done I just received lab work done. But I do know peoplevwith TB need a x-ray done

Hello! I am considering going to Mcfatter in January if I do not get into the RN program @ BC or FAMU. The orientation I will be attending is sept. 24 and i just want to know how the TEAS were? I just took the HESI @ FAU in august and just wanted to know if it is similar to the TEAS? i was exempt from the TABE test because I have a two year degree from BC (A.A. degree in nursing). I am currently @ FIU to bring up my GPA for BC & FAMU's program but if I do not get in I will continue with Mcfatter. Also, FIU just closed there LPN to BSN september of 2008 because I would have been applied if they kept it going. Write back please. :)

Well, I have not taken college algebra which I am going to take inthe fall. So I called famu and told them I would come in the spring.

I know right. They are working faster this time around hopefully we receive our e-mails faster too
