  1. Congratulations. My graduation date is October, 2005. Maybe I will see you around the school. Get all of your re reqs. finished if possible. Lots of homework and reading. It is very stressful but can be accomplished. Remind me of this next week when I have my next test. Again, congrats.

    Thanks for the support Su360.
  4. I would check the local hospitals out first. With is much education you have finished you could be hired in as a Nurse Tech making more than an aide. Just a thought. Good luck to you.
  5. If you worked on Thanksgiving Day you got a free meal in the cafeteria (that is if you could get down there on time). Otherwise, nothing at all.
  6. Thanks. I guess it is the teacher's job to scare the PJesus out of us new students. I find myself misspelling common everyday words on tests (words I have known how to spell since high school) and get marked down for it. I am just a nervous nellie. Thanks for understanding.
  7. The only reason I posted a reply to your message was for us to be mindful of the fact that you never know who is reading our messages and it could be the very person you want as your boss. My message was not to be critical and apologize if you and others took it that way.

I had Wanda Ragland about a year ago. I was accepted into the October start date and am 6 weeks into the program. Wheww! A whole lot of homework and reading. If you have not been accepted into the program yet from what I saw is that you just about have to be an all "A" student with reading/writing 45 and above. Good luck to you.
  9. I didn't take Patho I took Micro at South Campus . As to whether or not either one is good to go for a BSN you need to check each university. Some will only take Patho so if you know you are going on check with the college of your choice. Are you guys in the nursing program yet?
  10. I am in my first 6 weeks of nursing school at Macmb Community College and have not been approached. If and when I do, I will let you know.
  11. I just started nursing school and the instructors have been pounding into our heads about the need to spell correctly as it is a direct reflection on our professionalism as nurses. I agree we should all be mindful of spelling as it does show lack of knowledge and/or laziness.
