  1. I have a friend that graduated a few years back from there. The only complaint she had was that it was fast paced, nothing too bad. I'm applying for the fall.
  2. Thanks for the advice Jsayers11, I'm still in the process of searching for loans.
  3. They call you for the pre-erollment, which includes the drug and background check, after you're accepted.
  4. I'm looking for private loans as well....any advice or input, let me know
  5. WOW....great advice!!! I start my RN program this fall. I will definitely take your advice bro!!! Thanks!!!
  6. I'm supposed to start Sept 3rd, just now getting the financial aid, stuff like that situated this week. Oh.....and dont stress too much about the HESI, I was mad at MYSELF when I saw how well I did lol.
  7. I thought it was pretty easy. All of the information is fairly basic. I heard the study guide was really helpful.
  8. I attended Life Solutions For Health. It's located in Decatur. Small but great school. Look them up.
  9. Hasson.....good to seen another future male nursing student!! LOL. Welcome my brother!! LOL.
  10. Hello AtlantaGoldfish, I am a new student there as well, however, I am scheduled to begin in the Fall. You have me nervous now! Is Patho that hard?
  11. oh ok...cool...well stay positive, you just may get in! Now if you were to get into both programs, which would you choose? LOL
  12. I had a 3.4 GPA...TEAS score?....I honestly forgot since it's been so long, I do know that they (DTC) select a rediculously small amount of students...like 30 I believe.
  13. Hello there! I applied to DeKalb Tech as well.....last year and was not selected. I cant count how many programs here in the Atlanta area that are sooooooo hard to get into simply because they have too many applicants. My admissions process was so easy and smooth. The entrance test was very simple in opinion. I suggest that you attend the open house if you have the time. I guarantee you will be very impressed with the facility as I was.
  14. Congrats to you!!!! I was acceptes as well!!!!! Sounds like you have the same concerns as me as far as funding goes. I also have a Bachelors degree....what options are you exploring?
  15. There is a calculator on the computer that you can use. The test can take up to at least 3-4 hrs, depends on how you pace yourself. Each section varies in lenght. I think the longest was like 50 questions I think? I can't remember the exact number.
  16. Thanks!!! And good luck to you!! I hope to be your classmate this fall!!
  17. I got accepted!! WOO-HOO!!!! Anyone else????
  18. Has anyone heard anything yet?.....As far as acceptance for the September start date?
  19. I know right! LOL.....the waiting game sucks so bad....smh
  20. Congrats you guys!! I passed with an 86
  21. From what I was told, the only sections that are really important are the math and reading. All of the rest are just there pretty much to test your level of understanding since the already offer the pre-req's there.
  22. yeah....please to stress about it. You're good....no worries.
  23. The math and science were surprisingly easy. Math had alot of adding, subtracting fractions and decimals as well as proportions. The science was fairly basic as well including general chem and some A&P. The grammar and English was pretty much common sense, picking out what was misspelled and what was used grammatically incorrect. I didn't study at all and managed to come out well above the average that is required for acceptance. If I'm not mistaken, the required score was 75? I think?
  24. hello all!!! I took the HESI A2 today.....and I must say, it was so much easier than I thought!!!!!!
  25. Hello there! I was accepted to Bauder but decided not to attend at the time due to financial concerns. As far as the testing, have you asked the staff there for a different test format to accomodate an individual that speaks English as a second language?
