  1. kstevens2- Your mom is right. :) I too am in nursing school and it SUCKS!!! Especially when you are at the end of your semester and it takes all your energy to just show up. :) What I have done is every time I start to feel like this I make a list of all the things I want to do after nursing school. (travel, new house, more kids, etc) then I read it and re-read it until I am somewhat motivated to keep going. You can do this!!
  2. Almost forgot...my date and time was 2/10 around 8 am. You must have just missed it.
  3. Yes! I was placed in the Weekend Day program. Nervous and VERY excited! I've been waiting 2 years for this! Congrats to you! And good luck!!!
  4. My time stamp was 2/10 and I got my second choice. :) I've been having trouble finding a thread on GCC Weekend Day program. Usually you can see all kinds of activity after placement, but so far allnurses has been quiet. Maybe it's the new format.
  5. My date and time stamp was 2/10. I just got placed for Summer 2012 for my 2nd choice. Hold on...it will get here. Hope that helps.
  6. Averageanglophile- When did you apply? How quickly did you find out? What is the criteria to get into this program? Any info would be greatly appreciated. I'm attending an info session on Monday. Thanks!
  7. Oh...I forgot to add the NET/HESI question. If your already on the wait-list your score is grandfathered so you don't need to do anything...even if your test is expired like mine.
  8. Hope_Full- They told me that the decisions would be made this week. The one class starts on Sept 29th so they want to get everyone enrolled and set up asap. So, hopefully that means you'll hear this week too. Good Luck!
  9. Is anyone else attending this application session? I am and I'm just wondering something....as most of us...I've been waiting on this list forever and I'm not entirely sure my NET scores are even good anymore. Does anyone know the answer to this question...will they just accept your scores because you are on the wait list or will I have to now take the Hesi? I suppose I'd find out on Friday but I thought someone might know. Thanks!! :)
  10. If you are on the Maricopa Community College wait list you should have just received an email regarding the new program options. There isn't really a wait list per say. It's more so if you meet all the requirements. Check your status page for more info. It's up.
  11. ReeRee- Everyone that is on the wait-list at a Maricopa Community College received the email. Make sure your email address is up to date or check your gmail account through the college.
  12. Flutterby230! Let us know how you are doing. I'm hoping to get into the Spring Program (if they have it). I am pregnant and due the first day of class so no Fall start for me. Let us all know!! :) Good Luck!
  13. She just graduated and she already has a job. She says the program is tough, but she also said that if you want the help the teachers are there. She also told me to form a study group ASAP! Good Luck! I'm excited for you!
  14. Not yet. My date and time stamp is 2/9/2010 so I imagine I will not be getting in this go around. But I've heard Boswell is a little different. My girlfriend got in the semester after she applied. So who knows. Anyway, my girlfriend says that it's a great program and she loves it. She says some of the teachers are very hard but it's for your own good. Good luck and keep us hopefuls posted! Congrats again! :yelclap:
  15. Congrats!!! What is your date and time stamp?
  16. Lilmac81- I took BIO 202 online and then took it in person. I found both easy, but I felt like I was just memorizing the information and not retaining it when I took it online. I learn from doing and seeing. I would recommend doing the in person option. The labs are really informative and you'll get experience "looking inside the body" and all the BIO teachers at PCC are excellent. Good Luck!
  17. NewBegining Congrats!!! What year? 2009? Good Luck in the program and keep us posted. I am waiting on that program as well. :)
  18. 02/19/2010 08:06:14AM Not sure if I will get placed this century. :) I only have two choices GCC Weekend Day and GWCC Part Time.
  19. Hello All! I'm just wondering if any of you have attended or are attending GCU. I would like to know what the schedule is. M-F 8-3?? What? Thanks in advance for the help!
  20. Is anyone else waiting to hear from them for the Excellerated Program? Just wondering.
  21. Hey Cheertt2! Thanks for the info! Do you know how much the traditional program would be? I am going to tour the school in November. I wish I could have gone to the info session. I really appreciate any info you could give me!
  22. good morning maryland board! i am applying to jhu next week for entrance into the program summer 2010. has anyone graduated from this school? are you in the program now? what have you heard about this program? good/bad? any advice would be super helpful as i live in arizona! :) thanks in advance!
