My GPA was not that great, it was a 3.0 and NLN of 92. I did get one extra point for being an lpn and 1 point for clinical experience. My composite score was 67. What really sucks is that when WGTC students rotate through the ER I am the one who teaches them, but yet I don't seem to be good enough to get in the program. I work for Tanner and they have started a program that allows 4 students that work at Tanner to go through the program. I have applied for that as well so maybe I'll get chosen for that. There is still hope for me...I'll hopefully know this week. thanks ya'll for the kind words!

I got my letter but I didn't get an interview. Best of luck to all of you though! Maybe next time for me....

LaRae99 what was your composite score if you don't mind me asking. What about nln score? I"m out of town till tomorrow and don't know where I stand...if you want to private message me that's fine too. Thanks for the info.

Thanks Courtney!!! At least I won't be checking the mail like a madwoman for the next few days. What is a good comprehensive score on the worksheet before you have the interview? I just don't know where I stand. 164 sounds like a huge number of applicants so i'm sure the competition is tough...

I'm tired of waiting too!!! I did get my letter just giving my scores today. So maybe we will get interview letters soon. I'm just ready to start this phase of my life....or if I don't get in at least I can move on to something else. Hang in there everyone...almost there.

I am applying too!!! I turned in all my stuff last week. Will we get a letter or something saying that we're in the selection process? I have taken all my classes and I think my nln is good enough...it's a 92. I only took it once though. Maybe I should take it again...

i looked on the Ga BON website and they have a chart posted about excelsior and exactly what they require from us LPNs. I am thinking about applying and it sounds like they are now going to accept excelsior but you have to do some clinical hours after graduation and only get a temp license? What's up with that?

Does anyone have the latest info on Excelsior College being accepted by the Ga BON? I am confused by what the website says. I think that GA BON is accepting if you are an LPN but you have to complete extra clinical hours. What do ya'll think?

georgia highlands has one that i took last semester. I loved it!! no orientation and no in class time at all. It was awesome.

Have ya'll thought about the January program as well just in case? I also heard that Chatahoochee was starting the ADN program in January too.

I'm looking into that too. There is also a program at Gordon College that I'm checking out. There is always something out there, just have to find it.

I'm thinking about looking into Indiana State too. I'm gonna meet with some guy next week who works with theCollege Network and he will give me some info. I had heard that if I wanted to do the Indiana State thing I had to go through excelsior too, but I'm not too sure how that works. Where do you live Sharon? Are you looking for hospital or MD office work?

Which core class are you taking? I work with someone who is still taking Micro and Diet/Nutrition this semester and she got in. I think something's strange there.

Hey Sharon, Did you get in? I applied as well and was wait listed. They said my GPA was just under the lowest GPA they took. Now I have to wait to see if anyone does not show up or something. I'm looking into online program but don't know if GA still takes them. Do you know anything? Bridget
